They're called tenketsu, but you're right. Interesting definitions. Much different from the traditional textbook definitions. Good, good. I'll put ahead my definitions of these core concepts:

"Chakra" is basically life essence or life force which exists in human bodies and animals. Without it, a shinobi can die. It can be considered "blood" and soul for a ninja. It is the molding of physical energies and spiritual energies in the body. Physical energy is the energy given off by the body cells and can be increased with more stamina and practise. Spiritual energy is derived from the consciousness of the mind and can be increased through great concentration and meditation. It is the basis for all almost all the ninja skills like Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, except Taijutsu in some special cases. It flows through the chakra circulatory system, and in it, there are 361 points aka nodes in the body known as tenkutsu. The function of the tenketsu is to regulate and control the flow of chakra. If these weren't present, then chakra would flow through some specific organ, thus there wouldn't be a balance in the chakra flow. Every ninja in the narutoverse possesses a chakra pool. Shinobis with a very high chakra pool like Naruto can perform a lot of higher ranked techniques like Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, etc. without having the fear of getting their chakra depleted at once. Senju Clan members for eg, have very high chakra reserves and a high physical energy aka high "Yang" energy, thus their naturally strong bodies and on the other hand, the Uchiha clan members have a very high spiritual energy, i.e. high "Yin" energy, thus their proficiency in genjutsu and visual prowess. It is possible to have high chakra if you possess very strong willpower. If chakra runs out completely in a shinobi, then he dies as shown when Kakashi died due to his chakra completely running out against Deva Pein. It can be divided into several types like:

Elemental Chakra
Senjutsu chakra
Bijuu Chakra

Ninjutsu means "Ninja Arts" and is something that allows the shinobi to do something that a normal human can't do, like walking on water, manipulating elements, the usage of special as well as bladed weapons, stealth, transformation, etc. The effects of ninjutsu are real. Most of the time, it heavily relies on the usage of handseals as well as chakra. Regular ninjutsu doesn't incorporate the usage of elements for it, like stealth, a basic Rasengan, etc. Elemental Ninjutsu is an advanced form of ninjutsu, which incorporates the usage of basic 5 elements, as well as advanced combinations to create stronger jutsus which have the respective properties of the 5 elements. Elemental ninjutsu is stronger to regular ninjutsu, since regular ninjutsu only uses raw chakra, whereas, elemental ninjutsu uses both Shape Manipulation and Nature Transformation. The perfect Rp example would be that, a Wind natured or a Lightning natured Rasengan would have a greater destructive force than a standard Rasengan, obviously because the elemental Rasengan contains violently rotating chakra as well as the violently rotating chakra is given the property of the respective elements.

Handseals are hand gestures, which primarily manipulate chakra and dictate the exact amount of chakra needed for the respective specific technique. Weaving of handseals makes chakra take different "patterns". Some techniques require a large number of handseals, which is related to the complexity of performing that technique and if not weaved properly, in order, or if the user loses focus in between, then the technique is either executed in a weaker state, or it is dispersed midway, depending on the specific technique. A good example is Water Dragon Bullet Technique. It was shown that the technique required a string of 44 handseals to perform, however the Second Hokage, Tobirama could perform it with a single handseal, due to his unparalled Water mastery. It is shown in the manga that with time, a shinobi after mastering the specific technique, requires one-literally no handseals to perform it, an example being Chidori, which required some handseals when Sasuke just learnt it. In our RP, the user can perform any 2 elemental releases of his choice, depending on the elements he has placed as specialties, with one-virtually no handseals/faster handseals. Usually, handseals are performed with both the hands, but Haku, Minato, etc have demonstrated the ability to perform it with only a single hand. The 12 basic handseals are Monkey, Ram, Dog, Horse, Dragon, Boar, Rat, Snake, Ox, Hare, Bird, Tiger.
Is that implying that a single hand seal is so fast, its almost like performing without any seals? And ty for elaborating regarding chakra being the life force in a sense. I wanted to state it, even the dying part but I was hesitant after knowing the world before ninjutsu came along, had ninja without chakra, I think. Or at least without them knowing how to perform it, which just means it was still there either way.

Well, you know a single handseal almost counts as not as a handseal, because it's performed so freaking fast. Takes about half a second/full second to perform a single handseal really. So it's almost counted as zero.

Ah I see, yeah I suppose that's correct unless you are physically unable to move, that's when the situation gets problematic! :p

Yeah, if your hands are bound. Pesky Genjutsu users. >_>

Anyway, since we've covered the core concepts, let's move on. Even though you've already learnt the generic D-Rank Fire Release jutsu, I would still want you to perform it for me. For the other jutsus, no performance required. After you perform this, we'll start with the first method.

*gives you a special paper which is extracted from chakra fed trees.
points to a nearby rock*

Now, sit on the rock, and meditate. Hold the chakra paper between your fingers and start focusing upon your chakra within your body. Once you feel the flow of your chakra, picture the image of a flame. Meditate on it's properties and imagine doing the same to your chakra, meaning you should imagine imbuing the properties of a fiery flame to your raw chakra. Slowly, but gradually, start 'superheating' your chakra. If you do it right, you should feel your chakra becoming 'hot' and fiery, similar to a flame. This is known as Katon chakra, which is the process of nature manipulation. Manipulating your raw chakra to mimic the properties of the Fire element. Once you feel this new chakra nature coursing through your body, grab hold of it and re-direct it to your fingers, and to the chakra paper. The paper should slowly start burning. Once the paper burns, and turns into ashes, get down from the rock.

Now, repeat the same process of nature manipulation. However, now, you'll convert your Katon chakra into actual Fire. Once you do that, re-direct it to your mouth, so as to release it. But, just before you release it, focus upon the fire, and imagine shaping it into a small fireball. Once you shape the fire into the fireball, eject it from your mouth, and into the tree nearby. The fireball will travel in a linear path and start burning the tree. After you complete that, repeat the procedure again, but this time, after you form fire, and as you start releasing it from your mouth, keep fueling chakra to it, with minimal shape manipulation. This will form a stream of fire, which looks similar to a flamethrower; narrow in it's tip and wider at the end. Aim the stream of fire at the tree. Since you're continuously fueling chakra to the stream, you can change it's direction by angling your head in different ways, although, you have to keep on giving it chakra to maintain it. This is the most basic, generic and versatile jutsu. With this, you can form blasts, pillars, shields and basically anything within logic. Best part? No handseals! Albeit, the rank is pretty low, and it extends upto mid range.

Izaku walks up towards his teacher and extends his hand, grabbing a hold of the special chakra paper. He then effortlessly leaps onto the nearest bolder, thereafter sitting in a meditative position with his legs crossed, and arms inside. He then intertwines the paper around his fingers as he begins to mold his chakra through his body. He begins to think of the properties of fire itself, how it moves, how it flows and how it acts afterwards or even how it feels. He continues to flow the chakra through his arm and begins to infuse the paper with it, beginning to apply nature transformation in order to heat up his chakra to take the properties of fire. Moments later the paper begins to turn dark in color as it slowly begins to burn and inevitably burn completely. After getting the hang of the nature transformation, Izaku proceeds to stand up as he focuses fire chakra inside of his mouth, taking a deep breath he begins to use shape manipulation as he leans his body forward and performs a spewing motion with his mouth. In unison with that, he releases a small ball of fire that had been shape manipulated like so. The small ball would travel in a linear path, striking the nearest tree, causing it to disperse outwards from the initial point of impact and causing the tree to slowly and progressively burn. After taking a breather, Izaku focuses fire chakra once again, however this time taking a deep breath as he accumulates air for his spewing gesture. He does the same thing as before and applies nature transformation to his chakra as he releases it in a less concentrated manner, just as if he were blowing out air, however it was fire instead. The stream of flames would spread outwards, being very narrow in the mouth and slightly wider as it extended towards towards a nearby bush. Izaku continued to fuel the fire with chakra as he moved his head lightly from side to side in order to test out the capabilities of the stream. Moments later he deactivated the technique and turned over towards his teacher.

Senpai, how would I go about creating pillars or shields? Would I release the fire onto the ground and manipulate it in a way that it would expand upwards?

Excellent work!

Well, for pillars and shields, you can't obviously breathe it out of your mouth. So, you swing your hand, and as the motion happens, you send your Fire chakra into the ground and materialize a pillar, through shape manipulation. Additionally, you can materialize the pillar out of nowhere, by swinging your hand and sending your Fire chakra into the air. For shields, you do the same thing, and materialize a shield through shape manipulation. You can either send your chakra to the ground, or to the atmosphere.

Woah.. that seems very convenient, I never imagined fire release could be used like that, I thought it was only released from the user himself.

Yes, even though the chakra is released obviously from your limbs, you can form anything upto mid-range. The jutsu is very outdated, imo. Some may say, you can't form pillars or shields, since the description states that, "can produce a small but powerful flame from their mouth or limbs". I'd like to think you can manipulate the flame into a fireball or whatever you desire. The term 'flame' is very vague.

Now, can you tell me what projectiles and streams are? Also, the advantages and disadvantages of them. The former involves method 1. Meaning, we'll start with the first method after you answer my question.

Oh I see.

Projectiles - They are fire objects (In our case) that are released to strike a target from a distance. The benefit of using projectile based techniques is that the user doesn't need to constantly fuel his chakra and manipulation onto the technique so he can move onto the next one.

Stream - A more straight forward attack that can be used to release either narrow or wide spreads of fire/flames, unlike projectiles the streams need to be constantly fueled so they keep on being released from the user's mouth, limbs etc. The benefit of this is that the user may change the trajectory of the stream so long as he moves the body part that is releasing it.

Nice.

Here's my own definition:

Projectiles: Projectiles are objects which are propelled into the air. For eg: shurikens, kunais, etc. These are thrown towards the opponent. Now, projectiles move in a certain fixed direction, unless their direction is externally changed by blowing wind, water, etc. Coming to the element, fire projectiles are fire jutsus which are "flung" at the opponent. For eg: Fireballs Several fireballs are released from the mouth, hand or from the body. Once these projectiles are released, one can't alter their trajectory and it is out of your control now. With projectiles the user gathers all their chakra into one central focus point and releases the chakra all in one burst or divided in several bursts of compact fire chakra with its own set of energy, meaning the chakra is concentrated at one single point and thus the area of damage is short compared to streams, however due to the concentration being large, one single point when hit by a projectile faces massive damage.

Streams: A stream is a constant and well defined flow of an any material. For eg: a stream of water. Here, you gather chakra, and then simply release it in a steady flow outwards toward your target and you maintain that steady flow until the chakra you've built up for the technique is no longer there. This means that streams have their power spread out evenly throughout the technique as opposed to several individualized bursts of chakra that have their own capabilities, meaning you have to constantly focus on your chakra, however, you're free to alter the direction of your attack, since you still maintain the control over it until the amount of chakra that is built up gets exhausted.

And, here's the 1st method:

Method 1: Basic Projectiles

This first method fairly simple and will actually be the majority of the attacking fire techniques. Projectiles, just like kunai and shuriken, projectiles are weapons that leave you and travel towards your opponent. The power of the projectiles depends on the amount of force you implement in it. For example if you launch a kunai using with half your energy, it won't have as much speed and power as it would if you launched it with all your energy. That's somewhat what the concept is in parallel to rank. A D-ranked projectile technique is not as strong as a C-ranked because it doesn't have as much chakra and energy thrown into it. Now with that said we go onto to the element itself. With Fire projectiles you first:
~Gather a fixed amount your chakra into the point of release (generally the base of the lungs and exhaled, these fire techniques can be released and used through other points like hands, feet, etc, etc)
~Condense it while manipulating it both in nature and shape, according to the desired effect
~Release it in the desired direction towards your target through the point of release

Now in the case where you produce multiple fire projectiles you would follow these steps
~Gather a fixed amount of your chakra into the point of release
~Condense it using shape and nature manipulation
~Divide the chakra equally among the projectiles you are releasing allowing you to release them in close proximities (near instantly after one another)
~Then release.

The reason for this is, in the RP, when you release multiple projectiles using one jutsu, the equivalent of those individual techniques is the rank of the jutsu you release.

Example:

Projectile Fire Technique
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage: 60
Description: User exhales a single or multiple projectiles of Fire to his enemy

With this example technique it says you release multiple projectiles that could be anything from one to 10 projectiles. Are all those projectiles A-rank? No, the sum of their energy is A-rank. Lets assume you produce 5 projectiles. If they were all A-rank that would mean you used five techniques. So what you do is, you divide the chakra and the sum of the five projectiles launched is A-rank. What does this mean? It means you can take advantage and destroy individual projectiles more easily. Say your opponent uses this technique and you do as well. If he launches 5 projectiles and you launch one, Your 1=Their 5 collective, thus meaning your 1>their 1 or their 2, or 3 individually. You can destroy some of their projectiles and have it continue towards them. However in that case, they still have other projectiles coming towards you so it's like a double edged sword.

One thing one needs to take into consideration is the following:
S-Rank = 2 A-Rank Projectiles = 4 B-Rank Projectiles = 8 C-Rank Projectiles = 16 D-Rank Projectiles

Each rank is double the power of the preceding rank, so dividing the number of projectiles makes them follow the same principle.

None the less, in each case, with projectiles you release all your chakra at once condensed into these projectiles

Advantages to Method

Techniques in this category are quick releases, designed to attack in short to long range scenarios against big single targets, with normal movement speed. Just like projectiles, once they leave your hand it frees you up to attack again with more projectiles or even other types of techniques. Techniques in this category allow for you to launch several shots in succession in most cases allowing you to barrage your opponents from several different angles possibly or use them as a distraction or ploy to force them in directions that would be beneficial to you. Large enough projectiles will make it difficult for your opponents to avoid, but not impossible. There can be issues with visibility, allowing you to block your opponent's vision while you plot a sneak attack. However visibility aspect is a double edged sword in most cases. You won't necessarily be able to see them unless you have sensory abilities. These techniques are better used in closer distances to disable both the ability to dodge and counter but also to make full use of the speed of these projectiles. The closer you are, the less time they have to hit the opponent.

Disadvantages to Method

Though quick in release, once projectiles are released you have no control over them. It's generally the same in every case with projectile based weaponry minus attachments like wire that allow you control. However in the case of chakra based projectiles like these, after exhaling exit from the point of release there is no real control over the projectiles. The direction you've launched is where it will go and it could be very easy to avoid them with basic techniques that could move you out of the line of fire, like Earth Release Technique or the popular hurricane fist into the air. There is the problem of the rapid fire projectiles. As said previously, as you're allowed to fire multiple shots from certain techniques, yet they don't all have the power of that particular rank, their collective power combined = the rank of the technique as a whole. What this means is, as you divide the projectiles into several shots, they considerably get weaker allowing for your opponent to exploit the weakness. Some techniques may converge at a single point (usually the target) so that they may not be able to avoid harm by just attacking individual shots, there is still that possibility. Those who try to cover a wider range with more projectiles will leave themselves at a disadvantage. The opponent can protect just their frontal or the area of where they're attacking by using weaker attacks protect against individually weaker fireballs or fire projectiles. Another big disadvantage is this method is that these techniques aren't very prone to combos with other techniques, especially those of other elements. The projectiles are generally so compressed and dense that they explode on contact, preventing them from melting or heating earth that could be used in a combo with them. The sheer concept of a projectile makes it less prone to be comboed with wind or lightning as the projectiles would require insane precision to be comboed with a wind or lightning technique. Projectiles aren't also very usable with water for the same reason as earth as the projectiles would simply "rupture" and not deliver its effect due to the small time in contact with the combo technique. The main disadvantages are that projectiles are fast yes, but less versatile in combat and for the most part, easy to defend.
Any questions?

No questions, I am just excited at the fact that I am learning as if it wasn't fire release, but ninjutsu over all! :win:

:scorps: I like that spirit.
Now, we'll move on to the techniques. Okay, so I'll not teach you techniques which you've already learnt with Zaph, but you have to list out all the Fire techniques which you think, would fall under this specific method.

Ty Senpai! ^_^ hopefully everything is okay down below..

( Katon: Hibashiri ) - Fire Release: Running Fire
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal by utilizing their fire chakra, the user will create a stream of fire that can be manipulated into several forms (rings of fire that runs on the ground or a circle of fire flying through the air) before striking the target. It can also be used in combination with Wind Release: Divine Wind to create a tornado of flames, or with Wind Release: Godly Wind from the Mountains to release a massive inferno. The stream of fire can be created by stomping the ground (running across the ground in this case) or by spewing the flames (which will form an airborne ring of flames that will travel towards the enemy).

( Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first performs six hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger and they create a volley of small fireballs, which are sent flying in an unpredictable manner assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

( Katon: Rakka Sanran Kasai ) - Fire Release: Falling Fire Scatter
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user whilst in mid air will release from their mouth a series of small fire shots that rain down upon the target.

( Katon: Kitsunebi ) - Fire Release: Fire Whisp
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user creates a small ball of bright fire from their mouth that shoots at the opponent burning on impact.

( Bakuhatsu Enhogan ) – Exploding Flame Shots
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense, Deffence
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user exhales a stronger yet shorter version of the Fire Release: Great Fireball technique.

( Katon: Gōenkyū ) - Fire Release: Great Blaze Ball
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user after performing two hand seals Horse → Tiger exhales a big-sized sphere of fire that carries the enemy away and causes a massive explosion on impact. The fire ball has a given solidity property to it, being able to punch through solid obstacles without exploding.

( Katon: Gōenka ) - Fire Release: Great Flame Flower
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user jumps in the air and shoots three giant bullets of fire that come down like giant meteors, then erupt into a geyser of flame.

( Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offense/Supplementary
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user fires several large dragon-shaped fireballs at their opponent after performing one handseal. It is able to alter localized weather conditions to the point of making thunder clouds when shot into the air, enabling the user to perform Kirin.

( Katon: Hōsenka Tsumabeni ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user unleashes a volley of shuriken with one hand, while at the same time exhaling fire-infused chakra onto them in order to increase the weapons' destructive potential by making them capable of inflicting severe burns upon direct contact with either the intended victim or any other object caught within their trajectories. Due to the chakra-based nature of the flames that surround them, the shuriken will continue to burn after impact, regardless of the flammability of the object that they ultimately collide with.

I'm unsure about this one as you don't create fire projectiles per-say but you fuel already existing projectiles with fire.

( Katon: Onidōrō ) - Fire Release: Demon Lantern
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the atmosphere around him to create several ghost-like flames resembling heads with horns and yellow eyes that then attack the target/s in a swarm.

Although not released from himself, they seem like projectiles as they travel towards their intended target.

(Katon: Zukokku) - Fire Release: Intelligent Hard Work
Rank: A
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Rat → Dog → Tiger fires a small fireball that erupts into a giant fire-storm after making contact with a surface, causing widespread destruction to the area. Since the flames travel along the ground, and cover such a wide area this is a difficult technique to evade. When combined with Wind Release: Pressure Damage, this technique is amplified to the point of being able to evaporate a large amount of water in an instant.

(Katon: Gōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Hellfire Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and breath out from their mouth a large fireball that travels at the opponent. As it reaches the opponent it bursts into a maelstrom of fire engulfing them in flames.

(Katon: Ryūen Hōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: After performing the hand seal Tiger the user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body, before instead expelling it in the form of a number of dragon head-shaped fireballs. The user then skilfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. The temperature of the created flames is so great that, even with the briefest of contact, they are capable of easily burning human flesh and the fireballs are dense enough to behave almost as solid, being able to deliver impact damage in adition to the fire damage. However, this also means that they can be deflected as a solid projectiles.

(Katon: Gōkakyū Hitoame no Jutsu)Fire Release: Great Fireball Shower
Type: Offensive
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description:
Kneading his chakra and then converting it to fire, the user will do the Horse → Tiger → Snake → Ram hand seals as he inhales, exhaling into the sky a multitude of great fireballs (up to 8) at the same time which then rain down on the target from above causing severe, widespread damage around the field. These fireballs have explosive and concussive abilities, similar to other fire techniques.

(Katon: Fuuton Ken Katon Bakufuu no Jutsu) Fire Release: Wind and Fire Blast Technique
Rank: S
Type: Offense
Range: Long
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: The user after combining Fire Release: Intense pain and Wind Release: Pressure Damage at the same time. This creates a blast that is so intense that a standard water technique (ex : Water Release: Water Encampment Wall) can only at most soften of the impact. It was successsfully stopped by Yamato and Naruto's Typhoon water vortex.
Note: Can only be used either with a clone or with an ally

(Katon: Bakuryūgeki) - Fire Release: Exploding Dragon Strike
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: The user through use of one their scrolls will summon a large flame dragon that is directed towards the enemy target and explodes upon impact.

Unsure about this one, it appears as if the dragon would travel similar to that of a projectile?

Oh, I figured that this part "by spewing the flames (which will form an airborne ring of flames that will travel towards the enemy)." Meant the technique had multiple usages, so instead of releasing a ring on the ground the flame is manipulated into a ring of fire that travels on the air, similar to a projectile. As for the fire and wind combination, understood!

Let's start with the techniques. Analyze them for me.

One of the most widely used technique in the manga, by nearly every Uchiha. This involves weaving the Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger handseals and inhaling a good amount of air again. The inhaled is mixed with your Fire chakra in your lungs and then you would compress the fire to spit out several fireballs, like the D-ranked counterpart. These fireballs travel in an unpredictable manner, and can be used to make them converge on your opponent, so that they're difficult to defend from. Additionally, you can conceal shurikens within them, which would take the opponent by surprise, if he's hit, since this would cause blunt force damage, as well as burn him severely. This technique is a little special, since you can control the flames with your chakra, and since the shurikens are in contact with the flames, you can control them too. However, it only works upto short range, and is quite good for that purpose. You can exhale them in a diagonally upward arc, so that they come converging upon your opponent from the top, which would add to their speed, added the downward gravitational force, and would be difficult to defend from. The range is only short, as I mentioned, which is both a drawback and a good thing to this technique. This technique isn't primarily used for offense, but is used to engage the opponent so that you can follow up with combos.

Nothing special here. This requires you to be in mid-air however. You gather up your fire chakra in your lungs and shoot out several fireballs at the opponent, which come raining down as shots. Since these come diagonally crashing down, they have added speed and force when they fall. Also, it's a good way to engage the opponent this way and when he tries to escape, you can set up a trap to kill or constrict him in place.

( Katon: Kitsunebi ) - Fire Release: Fire Whisp
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user creates a small ball of bright fire from their mouth that shoots at the opponent burning on impact.

Here, you gather Fire chakra and shoot out a fireball, which is small in size. The catch here is that the fireball is quite bright, than normal fireballs, so this can be used on a sunny terrain to make it difficult for the opponent to evade. This travels till long range, which is quite nice. You can use the bright fireball as cover to throw explosive tags, or bladed weapons. Otherwise, I don't see any potential uses in battle.

( Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique

Senpai you basically broke it all down, its hard for me to add much to it xD. What I can see is that it needs quite a few hand seals, considering it's range if the user doesn't specialize in using fire as a primary or secondary, it is a very bad draw back. this would force the user to prepare the hand seals before entering short range, so that he releases the technique as he enters that radius. I had a question, how would the shuriken be concealed in a fight? I believe the might see the second I release the shuriken as they are then enveloped in flames? Or possible, that happens so fast it's hard to notice?

( Katon: Rakka Sanran Kasai ) - Fire Release: Falling Fire Scatter

As you have stated, it requires the user to be in mid air so the technique itself is already somewhat restricting in it's usage. Unlike the previous technique I just learned, this no doesn't require any hand seals which is a plus. In fact it's a good addition to the fact that you have to jump, it will narrow down the possibility of being known since no seals would be weaved to alert the target, besides your jumping motion and the post release of course. Another notable ability is that it can be released in a wide spread but naturally it would cause it to be weakened, but since the user is in the air he will have a better view of the field and it may potentially aid him to attack easier.

( Katon: Kitsunebi ) - Fire Release: Fire Whisp

Nothing very special about this technique, however it does have it's things. For example as you mentioned it's long range, that is somewhat of a rare thing for lower ranking abilities specially for fire release. The fact that the fire ball is singular means the power can't be divided so you have to release it with care, and be certain it will not be defended with ease. I am unsure about the bright ability, it doesnt seem to be potent enough to blind the target but possibly bright enough to distract them from the shining of other metallic projectiles that travel behind them on a sunny day?

See, you form several small fireballs. The fireballs are sent at such an angle that you can use that to throw a shuriken, coat it with a fireball, so that it's wrapped entirely by the fireball, and thus the opponent gets burning damage, as well as piercing damage from the shuriken.

Yeah, the bright fireball tech, is very extremely weather based. You could blind the opponent by an S-Rank canon lightning technique(Raigen Raikochu) and follow it up with this, in short range. Would be actually very useful if used in that way, but doesn't affect a large area, so only a small body part of the opponent would be burnt.

You weave two handseals, and gather up your Fire chakra in your lungs, channeling it to your mouth. You then, convert your Fire chakra to fire, and shape manipulate it to form a giant sphere of fire. Now, the special thing about this technique is that you have to add solidity to the fire sphere, using shape manipulation, as well compress it to a large extent. The sphere doesn't have the usual properties of fire, i.e. burning. It is solid in it's form, and can carry away your opponent a considerable distance, forming a massive explosion on impact, once the condensed chakra within it is released all at one moment of time. Alternatively, you can manipulate the sphere to let it pass through solid obstacles without exploding. It can travel upto long range, which is pretty brilliant. This is a very useful jutsu to take your opponents by surprise, since they would usually counter it using a water technique, which wouldn't really work against this.

This one needs you to be in mid-air. Since, you can't dodge things in our RP by just jumping or evading, i.e. freeform, a lot of people use this technique to dodge something, as the jumping part falls inside the technique. There's a rule in our RP: You can only dodge techniques by another technique, not by simply saying, "I jump out of the way". Clear? Anyway, coming to the technique, once you're mid-air, you will gather your Fire chakra in your lungs and exhale out 3 giant fireballs from your mouth, in the form of bullets, by compressing your chakra. The bullets erupt into a giant geyser of violent flames once they reach the ground, and travel like meteors, and since they travel diagonally downward, or straight downward, their speed and intensity increases due to the gravitational force and the opponent would find it hard to defend from these from the top, and even if he defends, you can use the time window to come up with a combo. Augmenting this with a Wind jutsu would make it super deadly. This again has a long range reach which is excellent, as well as requires no handseals, so it's quite fast to perform. One of the most useful jutsus in B-Ranks.

( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user exhales a stronger yet shorter version of the Fire Release: Great Fireball technique.

Description says it all. You don't require handseals for this, which is a big plus. You'll do the same process; inhale, gather your Fire chakra in your lungs with the inhaled oxygen, and then compress your Fire chakra to form a giant sphere of fire from your mouth. Alternatively, you can exhale this a stream, same like Great Fireball tech. This technique is just a variation of the C-ranked Great Fireball, but here, you input more chakra, and it is stronger obviously. But, the range is limited to only short, so it's pretty alright. It's quite fast, and can be used in short range to hinder Taijutsu users.

( Katon: Gōenkyū ) - Fire Release: Great Blaze Ball

How come water wouldn't work against it? I know it is more solid than actual flame but shouldnt elemental strengths and weakness play a roll in the interaction between the techniques? Causing a wave of water for example, to push it backwards and put out the condensed fire?

As you stated this technique is unlike the rest of the fire techniques I have learned so far. Instead of being fully tangible and phasing, it actually has the solidity of pushing back targets or other constructs. Once it collides, it will detonate into a fiery explosion. The good thing about this technique is that the fire is not only big but can also reach up to long range.

( Katon: Gōenka ) - Fire Release: Great Flame Flower

A step up technique that requires the user to jump before performing it, but that can also be beneficial as you said if you want to defend against something minor like a ranked chakra infused projectile. Either that or having the user already be airborne for the technique. The only minor thing I see is that although the fire balls are giant, it means it will take more time to release three of them which gives the user ample time to notice the attack coming his way. That can also be equally deadly as he may not be able to notice the other two if released perfectly aligned, but since the initial one continues to fall down, that case is unlikely. This technique also reaches up to long range and requires no hand gestures besides jumping.

( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet

As it is stated, this technique is the stronger version of a previous one I learned, minus the fact that it can only travel up to short range of me. However the fact that no hand seals are required makes up for that set back. This technique can be used when approaching your target or likewise when he is doing so.

I meant that it wouldn't be normally quelled as a fireball would, by small waves, etc. since it has a certain solidity to it. It's also meteor sized. o_____o It would be stopped in it's path and extinguished by large water waves though.

This is one of my favorite Fire jutsus in the B-Ranks. You weave one handseal and gather your fire chakra in your lungs, and exhale out fire, while shape manipulating it to give it the shape of a dragon, and forming a fireball. You expel these fireballs rapidly in succession. The fire in these fireballs is hot enough to change the weather conditions, and due to the extreme heat, thunder clouds are formed. Obviously, the range is long, so it's pretty great. It can easily be comboed with Wind jutsus to augment it's intensity and speed. This tech serves as a prerequisite for performing one of the most powerful Lightning techs; Kirin.

This one is explosive fire again. You gather your Fire chakra in your hands, and condense it, so that all your chakra in focused at one point and form fire. You then swing your hands, and you shape manipulate the fire to form several shots which then leave your hand, once you swing it. The fire shots cause explosions with the object they collide with, due to the sudden release of the built up chakra all at once. They however, don't have the ability to burn, and can only cause explosions. You can make them converge on your opponent, and use a Wind jutsu to speed up their travelling. Can you tell me why the range is given as mid?

This was used by Itachi against Killer B. You take out several shuriken, and gather a medium amount of Fire chakra in your lungs. You then throw the shurikens, while exhaling fire at them, at the same time. As other projectile weapons, you can throw the shurikens in such a way so that it is hard for the opponent to defend from them all at once. Since the flames are made up of your chakra, the shurikens continue burning even after impact continuously, unlike other fire techs, where the flames disappear once the chakra put into them is exhausted.
