[Fuuton] Learning Wind Element from Detective L

*despite being trained in water release by the great teacher known as Kaene, Star Lord pushes his training even further by requesting the assistance of another great teacher known as Dean to train him in the wind element, these two elemental natures are known for benefiting each other in combat!*

Dean Winchester makes his way to the training field. His favourite element, Wind, he had to teach to this new guy. He heard this guy was quite a joker like himself, perhaps he liked to drink too? Who knows. However, training was a long session, one could always have a drink in between. Dean had a bag on his back, with several scrolls inside it and of course, his bottle of Gin. He clears his throat as he sees a man, almost the same age as him. Must be his student.

"Yo, heard I have to teach you Wind. I am Dean Winchester of the Nekura Clan. Now, tell me everything you know about Wind in the Narutoverse, its strengths and weaknesses and also, notable users of the element."

Dean then creates a chair made of Earth, to sit on as he waits for the young man to answer him.

"Oh oh, and tell me your name too."

*With a clear conscience, Star Lord approaches his new teacher that seems to be just like him rather a few years older but many years of a Shinobi ahead*

Hello there, Mr Winchester of Nekura. My name is Peter Quill but there may be a better name you may know me by(or not >.>) Star Lord.

*Star Lord scratches the top of his head*

Well.. Embarrassingly enough all I know of the Wind element is that it's wind natured chakra that's formed When circulating air into a certain form and that its mainly used by Shinobi of Sunagakure. I can also note that it is strong against Lightning and that it compliments Water quite well. As for weaknesses the only one I could note is the Fire element because air itself can cause fire to expand

*gulp*

Star Lord? Dean had heard this name before, perhaps on his travels in some tavern or a random passer by, he wasn't too sure. He squinted his eyes.

"Star Lord, I'll call you that. Nice name. Anyway, that's alright for a first try in terms what exactly Wind is. Wind is an element which is free, its all around us. It has an unlimited source, if you think about it like that. Wind is usually in the form of being sharp, where it causes cuts and such, however, it can also cause blunt impact in more compressed forms like Wind bullets. We'll be going through all these types in training. Also, Wind is strong to Lightning because it acts as an insulator, which stops the movement of electrons and renders it incapable of moving onwards, you know, physics stuff. As for its weakness, it is indeed Fire as the Wind only fuels the fire more, making it stronger. Although its a weakness, it can be used for combinations against an opponent. Also, it depends on what type of Wind technique you use with Water, it could act as a supplementary element to it, though it can also be used to disperse a water source, rendering it useless. Its all up to user, and the technique used. Against Earth, they don't really interact, since Earth is fairly sturdy, it could withstand most Wind techniques, though the more sharp ones could cut through rock with ease. Overall, its a nice element, although the canon techniques don't have a wide variety of techniques, most are blasts of Wind and vortexes, though some are more unorthodox like a F5 Tornado or in compressed shapes. Now, enough of my rambling, I want you to take this paper."

Dean looks into his bag, and black one with a small Nekura sign on it. Dean had asked some village lady to sew it in, for comedic purposes, of course. He then pulls out a fairly ordinary looking paper.

"This is a special paper, known as chakra paper. If you channel your chakra into this, it will correspond with the nature of the element, channelled into it. In this case, you have to channel your Wind based chakra into it and it will be split apart, the paper that is. Fairly simple, think of Wind. Its freedom, its translucent and its cutting capabilities. Try it out."

Dean hands Star Lord the chakra paper.

*Star Lord take the paper and holds it outward, closes his eyes and take a deep breathe while imagining the element.*

I can feel it.. All around me the wind. It's just as you say Dean. It's free

*from within the chakra molds and Star Lord sends this new found power into his arms and out his hands into the paper*

*tch-tch.. Tear!(sound)*

I did it, this wind and what it's done.. Like you said to me earlier, it usually take form into where it cuts. And that is exactly what happened here. I utilized my wind affinity to cut this paper!

 

[Detective L]

He easily cuts through the paper, which showed that he had the Wind affinity. This was the sign that they could continue onwards with training, and move on to the actual techniques of Wind release. Dean smirked.

"Well done, Star Lord, it seems we can continue! Now, my way of training is as follows: I will explain the technique to you, then I want you to perform it against a clone of mine, state at least 2 advantages and disadvantages of the technique, and also how you would use it in battle. If you have questions, feel free to ask!

Now the very first technique of Wind release is simple. You will mould your Wind based chakra, and use it to release blasts of Wind from your limbs, or your mouth. These can either be blasts of Wind, or streams of them. They are D rank in power, and would cause blunt damage and some small cuts. Very useful as it can be done without hand seals. Use it against my clone (plus the other things I mentioned)."

Dean creates a clone that runs towards Star Lord.

*With Dean's clone approaching closer and closer, Star Lord extends his arms outward and molds his chakra channeling it to his outward hands*

*swooh swooh!* two gushes of wind release towards the clone stopping him from getting closer*
Wow I must say, wind has quite some force to it. But it doesn't seem to be an attack that should be used for long range. It's seems to be more of an mid range defensive tactic, eh Dean?

 

[Detective L]

"Good, and indeed, its simple and only travels to Mid range. Though add a bit more on the advantages and disadvantages of the technique. In this case, its advantage would that its fast to do, no hand seals needed and can even compliment Taijutsu. Disadvantages would be its low rank, not being capable of dealing a large amount of damage at all. Here you go (the technique you just learned)."

"Next in line, is a simple technique where you will mould your Wind based chakra and release a gust of Wind which would blow some loose sand off the ground into the opponent's eyes. This temporarily staggers said opponent, and can even be used as a sandblaster to cause sand to accumulate on trees which makes it difficult to get a good footing. Very simple and easy to use, though more of a supplementary technique. Use it against my clone (with the other stuff too lol)."

Dean creates a clone that runs in an arc, towards Star Lord.

*As the clone rushes, Star Lord jumps up into the air and gathers chakra into his mouth and releases a gust of wind towards the ground right before the clone causing sand to rise and irritate his eyes, while the clone is staggered Star Lord gathers chakra in his mouth once more then uses

Oh yes I forgot about those ._.

*Star Lord responded, the advantages of the technique is that it's very quick to use, I didn't even have to make any signs or gather an enormous amount of chakra to use it, and it also nulled the incoming attack showing that it's quite effective as an easy defensive tactic but for disadvantages it's really weak and the opponent only seems to be staggered for one turn*

"And in battle its best used in a sandy terrain. Don't forget the battle part U_U. Anyway, here you go."

"Alright, now the next technique is simple but very useful. Through the usage of manipulating your Wind based chakra, you will create a wall of spinning Wind in front of you. This is capable of throwing weapons back towards the opponent (if they are launched towards you) and is also very useful against Taijutsu attacks launched towards you. Though due to the sharpness of the Wind, if an explosive tag or smoke bomb touches it, it will activate. Use it against my clone. (Plus the other stuff again, always add 'em)."

*Star Lord gathers chakra once again into his mouth and releases wind before him, using his chakra he manipulates the wind and forces it to spin in front of him acting as a wall which stops the clone from approaching, Star Lord then uses

*the advantages of creating a wall of wind is that it apprehended the clone that was coming forth towards me and that it enables me to send back weapons that are being tossed at me
As for disadvantages, it can possibly cause harm to me if an explosive is tossed into this wall due to the cycling wind being so sharp.*

"Also how you would use it in battle, when an opponent tries to engage in close combat. Nonetheless, add everything into one post next time. Here you go."

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.

"Alright, next is one of the most used Wind techniques, despite its low rank. By manipulating your Wind based chakra, you will release a stream of Wind from your mouth, whilst you are in mid air, in order to change direction of your body. Basic momentum rules apply, if you blow to the left, your body will move to the right and vice versa. Anyway, this technique can only be used when you are in mid air, don't jump and use it please. Now for your performance."

Dean creates an Earth pillar beneath his student, shooting him into mid air.

"DODGE THIS USING THE TECHNIQUE!"

Dean throws a kunai at his chest, which would hurt him, should he not move out of the way. (Once you land, add the other stuff too please z,z)

Mid air with a kunai flying towards his body, Star Lord quickly gathers chakra in his mouth and blows a stream of wind towards the left which sends his body in the opposite direction to avoid the incoming kunai.

Description: This technique allows the user to change direction in mid-air at high speeds by simply blowing wind out their mouth. The user can also use this technique by blowing it at the ground and causing a dust cloud to rise, concealing the users location and movement.

As Star Lord lands he briefly explains the advantages and disadvantages of this jutsu..

The advantages of using this technique is that it allows me to evade incoming attacks while I'm in the air, and it allows me to change directions at high speeds allowing me to evade quick incoming attacks like a tossed Kunai or shuriken, it also functions as a defensive tactic for the user by blowing wind towards the ground causing dust to rise and concealing him/her from the enemy. Some disadvantages are that it cannot serve as an offensive jutsu at all and causes no damage to the enemy, it's also a short-mid range jutsu so evading someone's attack airborne that has a long range won't suffice, it seems this jutsu is only useful against low rank attacks and ninja tools such as Kunai and Shuriken

"Good, remember that you can only use this in mid air, so you can't jump and then use this. As for your analysis, it'd be best to use the basic Wind technique to cause dust to rise as this technique exists only for its one purpose. Here you go."

This stream of Wind would carry rocks and debris and lift the opponent into the air. There, the opponent will be hit by rocks. Quite simple and straightforward. Use it against my clone."

As Dean's clone is quickly approaching, Star Lord builds a large concentration of chakra into his mouth and blows forward a huge stream of wind, the power of the wind was so strong that it took debris and rocks off the ground along with the clone into the air, the debris and rocks smashed against him causing damage.

Let's see the advantages of using this attack is that it's fast and easy to use, no hand signs. Powerful enough to send a foe into the air and cause damage with the rocks it carries off the ground. As for disadvantages, I honestly can't think of any. It seems like the perfect attack on an incoming foe unless maybe if the foe were to throw a kunai with paper bomb as soon as I do the jutsu, it can cause damage to myself? z.z

"Very good, and no, it won't do damage to you, since you lift the opponent with rocks and all into the air. Here you go."

"Next we got our first C rank technique. This technique is quite simple, and starts off by manipulating your Wind based chakra and clap your hands together. This compresses the Wind, and is transformed into a gale of Wind. This can be used to knock over the opponent, but it can also be used to increase the speed and power of a thrown projectile, like say a kunai or shuriken. So if you first throw a projectile, and use the technique, it would increase its forward momentum. Use it against my clone."
