Neji quickly throws a flashbomb between Sai and you, dispelling your shadows. Now, you're ready to go. Sai, once again, starts running towards you.

As the shadow is released,I immediately jump back.I start by inserting my chakra into my shadow.In doing so,I start by manipulating it to move forward,towards the oncoming Sai clone.As it reaches Sai's shadow,it merges.Out of both our shadows,I form a hand.I then insert more chakra into the shadow.I then manipulate the hand to move up Sai's body till it reaches his throat.I then strangle him with the shadow hand.

Do not use any weapons. Shape your shadows into two identical copies of yourself that are shaped shadows. Basically they're 3D figures which are attached to your shadows. Attack Neji according to the description.



Neji throws his two kunais at your head as he runs off towards you.

As Neji takes out the two kunai,Shikamaru immediately starts inserting his chakra into his shadow.In doing so,Shikamaru forms his very own shadow into two identical copies of himself that is still attached to his own shadow.Shikamaru then manipulates his two shadow copies into moving forward,towards Neji.They move at great speed towards the Neji clone,giving him little time to respond.Reaching the clone,the two Shikamaru clones made of shadows,punch the clone,from both sides.They then coil around him and crush him instantly.

As the two kunai head towards Shikamaru,he takes out his own kunai to deflect one as it reaches him,and launches himself to his left to dodge the other.In the meantime,Neji has started run towards Shikamaru.He then inserts his chakra into his own shadow and manipulates it,to form two exact copies of Shikamaru.These copies look exactly like Shikamaru.By manipulating the two copies,Shikamaru let them move toward the approaching Neji.They move at great speed.They then split and punch the Neji clone from his left and right side,right before he reaches Shikamaru.They then coil around him and crush him.

I asked you not use weapons for a simple reason, so as to make you use the shadow men to defend you from the kunais.

For the first jutsu,yes it materialises into a huge 3D hand,that would crush the opponent.

Second jutsu,well,the smoke bomb you throw,that smoke gets trapped with the opponent when the shadow engulfs him.This allows the smoke to be trapped with the opponent in the shadow itself.

Scenario : Fighting an opponent at mid range

Shikamaru immediately starts by inserting his chakra into his shadow.The opponent starts moving forward,as Shikamaru uses left hand to grasp his explosive tag Kunai's (five of them).He then sends his shadow forward towards the enemy.As the enemy tries to dodge it towards Shikamaru's left,Shikamaru uses his kunai.He throws it towards the enemy.The enemy is distracted,and moves more towards Shikamaru's left,,then Shikamaru uses this oppurtunity to capture the enemy with his shadow.The kunai hits the enemy and he is captured.Shikamaru then extends his shadow into sharp needles that impales the enemy.The enemy now completely unable to move,watches as the explosive tags on the kunai go off.It explodes,and destroys the enemy.


-Advantages: Does a whole lot of damage and is unavoidable when the opponent has been captured by the shadow.


-Disadvantages:Could be dodged if enemy gets out of range.
