Oh hey there!

Ashitaka could be seen coming out from behind a tree in the middle of nowhere. He began pacing towards his student, eager to teach him everything he knew about the water element and it's usefulness.

Well, my name is Ashitaka Emishi of Kirigakure and I am glad to meet you. It seems you left off on the Hidden Mist technique huh? Perfect. Can you watch me closely please?

After forming one hand seal due to his natural affinity towards water, Ashitaka used his chakra to materialize a whip of water. He then squares up to the tree and wills the whip to lash out towards the tree. The whip of water sped towards the tree and bruised it after the lashing.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat โ†’ Dog โ†’ Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip.

This jutsu is relatively simple. There is nothing very special about it, but it has it's uses albeit limited uses. In certain situations this jutsu can be useful, but I personally find it dull since the B-rank version is so much cooler. I would like you to tell me how you would use this jutsu and how you would defend against it if you could.

As Ashitaka approached me an introduced himself I said:

please to meet sempai, the names Nogetsune, looking forward to be trained by you.

After his sempai gave me the disribtion of the technique,I try to perform it.

I start of by gathering my chakra throughout my entire body,as my raw chakra is formed I infuse it with water nature transformation, channeling the water chakra to my hand,I would use shape manipulation to form a whip of water. Using it on an opponent I would try to bind my opponent with the whip and I conjunction use an lightning jutsu which would give the jutsu greater effect.

Defend against the technique: an earth jutsu is probably most appropriate, as if an opponent is trying to bind or lash me with the whip I would create a earth pillar that would take the place of the binding or lashing, and seeing that water is weak to earth techniques.

Note: if you not satisfied by the way I reply just let me know how you would like it,each person teach me has different thing they looking for.

Hmmm...

Ashitaka looked at his student perform the jutsu. It seemed the jutsu had failed for a strange reason, but with coaching the kid might be able to pull it off.

I think you need a little lesson on chakra, along with shape and nature manipulation kid. Let me explain.

Ashitaka takes a deep breath and exhales.

Chakra is composed of two main energies; your Physical, and your Spiritual Energies. Your Physical Energy is just that; the energy contained within the cells of your body, within your muscles which you use to lift objects, and is simply, overall, limited only by your body's limitations. The stronger a shinobi, the more Physical Energy you have to produce Chakra. Your Spiritual Energy, on the other hand, is much less tangible and harder to measure. Your Physical Energy is measured in how heavy an object your muscles can lift, or how long you can run at a certain speed, while your Spiritual Energy is too much of an abstract concept to be measured properly; I can tell you how much Physical Energy you have by putting you through a few tests, but only you can tell yourself how much Spiritual Energy you have. Your Spiritual Energy stems from things such as how passionate your emotions are, how determined you are to achieve a goal, how strong your will is, what your mental capacity is, and other things of these abstract natures. Your Mental Power, your Will's Strength, your Passion and Determination...that is all your Spiritual Energy. We will now discuss a few things important for Elemental Ninjutsu, the basics for any shinobi. Controlling an element is simply forcing your chakra into said element, water, air, earth, or manipulating your chakra to form the element where it is not found naturally, vibrating it at high frequencies for lightning, or super-heating for fire. But before we can begin with elements, there is the matter of Shape Manipulation, the final step in chakra control which has no easy exercise you can go through for practice; we go straight into techniques with Shape Manipulation and hope you can get the feel for it. Now, you have shown yourselves able to mold chakra, focus your chakra to a certain point on your body, and even expel your chakra to do work. You have also learned basic forms of Shape Manipulation in the Academy, expressed primarily in the form of the Henge no Jutsu. Shape Manipulation is simply focusing your chakra, as you can, into a certain form. This form can range anywhere from a sphere, to a square shield, to a humanoid golem figure. As you can see, it is simply you manipulating your chakra, making it move as you want it to, and keeping it in a certain shape as you want it to be.

With that being said, you don't need to perform these jutsu for me. I just want to discuss the jutsu after I perform it. Tell me how you would use it and how you would defend against it, along with your questions about it. Ok?

Ashitaka forms one hand seal and he channels raw chakra up through his gullet to his throat. Along the way, he begins the nature transformation of turning his raw chakra into suiton chakra. He then spews out the viscous water on the ground in front of the duo.

This jutsu is great against speedy opponents, or opponent's who want to get close to you in general. If you angle your head up and spew the sticky water on them, it would be much more effective opposed to the regular way of using it. It is also relatively quick and has beautiful range.

Rank: C
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram โ†’ Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

As the jutsu is an adhesive substance is has great capabilities of slowing an opponent down or immobilizing your opponent completely. the tech would be great to use against tai jutsu user or users with undetectable speeds. I see the jutsu as a way to give you the upper hand in the battle,it might not cause any damage but it will give you time or an opening to cause damage.

The simplest way that you can evade the jutsu is to channel chakra to your legs which would allow your to walk above the syrup. Other means of evade the jutsu is by using a earth tech that would eliminate the jutsu e.g mobile core whereby you raise or lower a portion of the ground,or simply by not touching the ground e.g sand cloud or an ink animal that can fly. So that you don't have to touch the ground where the syrup was placed.

You can't channel chakra in your legs to walk on this water. This water is sticky. If you walk on it with chakra in your feet, you will walk on it but the top layer itself is still sticky. You'd just be stuck still Lol. A good way to counter this is to not let the water hit the ground. If they spew it out, you yourself could easily blow it away with a fuuton, raise an earth wall infront of yourself to keep you safe, etc. Other than that, it is a really useful jutsu. Use it well and a lot.

Ashitaka forms the tiger hand seal and channels his chakra into a water source within short range of himself. Using shape and nature manipulation, he wills the water to form an exact replica of himself that can only travel a short distance and use up to c-rank suiton.

Rank: C
Range: Short
Type: Supplementary
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a clone of themselves made of water. These water clones have 1/10th of the users chakra. These clones are also limited in that they can only travel short range from the user without losing control. When a water clone take enough damage they revert back to normal water.
Note: Can only perform up to C rank Water techniques and requires a water source.

What do you think of this jutsu? Give me your thoughts.

I actually like any clone techniques even though it has it limitations,it can be quite useful in tight predicaments and can buy you some time to counter with greater magnitude, your opponent first has find who the clone is and you able to use water jutsus in the mean time with your clone,I think a clone can be a great setup for your next technique.

If I had to counter a water clone I would use a earth technique that would target bother the clone and my opponent thereby if the technique should make contact with the clone it would disintegrate and my opponent would have to evade the technique.

In the anime it would be, but in our RP people metagame the shit out of stuff like that. They always seem to know who is the real person and which one the clone is. But your reasons are good. I like you.

Perfect response. If you target both of them, clone and real, from different angles, they would have to defend against the attack twice. This is a very common strategy for people who fight in two on one situations. ^^

Onto the next technique. With the use of your chakra, you make a mass of water rise up from a bigger mass of water. The mass you make rise up resembles a worm in a way, as in it is relatively long for it's width, much like a very huge, girthy whip. This attack can pretty much attack anything in a 360 degree radius as it spins at very fast speeds, augmenting it's killing power.

The other jutsu is very simple. You blind people in your mist. Nothing much else too it.

Now, tell me your opinions on the techniques as usual. Also, tell me if you think two jutsu is too much per post. If you do well enough, we can start doing three per.

(Suiton: Suigandan) - Water Release: Water Fang Bullet
Rank: C
Range: Short
Type: Offense
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A technique that deals physical damage to the enemy with a liquid mass brought forth from underwater. Its power to kill and maim is augmented by adding a spinning motion to the compactly pressured water. During fights on water, taking advantage of its characteristic ability to attack from anywhere in a 360 degrees radius, in conjunction with other techniques for distraction, confusion and so forth, this technique has an extensive array of applications.
Note: Requires a water source.

Suiton: Kirigakure Shiryoku Hakudatsu) - Water Release: Hidden Mist Eye Sight Deprevation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15(-3 each turn to keep it active)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Using the hidden mist jutsu the user reflects the natural light an a way that it blinds there opponent temporarily as long as the opponent is in the mist.
Note: Must have already used hidden mist jutsu

The next tech I probably a technique I'll use a lot, the capability to attack in a radius of 360 that's makes it a very effective jutsu,as it is a great distraction it can be a great finishing technique,I used properly. That's is if I'm picturing the technique right.

Would you be able to neutrilize this technique with a wind jutsu, as if when you use a great amount of wind it would disrupt the flow and rotation of the water
As for the Hidden Mist Eye Sight Deprevation technique good distraction, but easily counter in actual fact the hidden mist would be countered. I don't think the jutsu would hold up good against sharingan or rinnegan.

Can you give me ways to make the jutsu more effective,if you don't mind

That is the jutsu. Imagine that, only with the ability to make it attack anyone in a 360 degree radius up to short range, as long as you have a water source.

If the wind jutsu is c-rank or higher then sure.

Not exactly. The mist jutsu coupled with this would blind pretty much anyone, bar Byakugan users. The chakra inside the mist makes it so that the sharingan cannot see the difference between the mist (full of chakra) and your own chakra signature. Blinding them with that jutsu would further ruin their day.

Sure thing man. But I am curious, do you understand the elemental strengths and weaknesses? How they interact and such?

Yes I do basically,I did the circle in most of my trainings. Water is strong against fire ,and earth to water, lightning against earth, wind to lightning and fire to wind, then obviously the exception of the kekkei gen kai's. Which play a big role in countering. If you a more detail description just let me know. I just look for use ways to counter to make it unpredictable.

That's basically it. Water > Fire > Wind > Lightning > Earth > Water > etc.

If you spat out an A-ranked projectile of water and I defended with an earth wall jutsu of B-rank power, both techniques would dissipate. However, if I chose to use a C-rank power earth wall instead, your A-ranked water projectile would head towards me with B-rank power, crushing my defense. If I chose to use an A-rank earth wall, your water projectile would dissipate and my earth wall would be a strong b-rank in power.

Countering a technique isn't just a game of ranks though. It is vital to make sure your ranks matter in most situations, but unless the counter makes sense, the counter will not work. If you used stone spikes on me (c-rank earth), and I spat out a water wall (a-rank), my water rank wise would overpower your earth. However, your earth technique comes from the ground and skewers me, as my water wall doesn't protect me from attacks from below.

So in summary, do you understand that basic logic as well as ranks matter in countering jutsu?

Two very straightforward and useful techniques. The first one lets you clap your hands and form a vortex of water around yourself varying from power depending on the amount of chakra you put in it. Then it cascades towards your opponent with great force and power.

The second one is a means of sensing for water users. After performing the hand seals, you begin to make it rain via your chakra and your senses are connected to this rain. It is a very good supplementary jutsu and especially useful for rain users.

(Suiton: Suishลha) - Water Style: Water Shock Wave
Rank: C-B-Rank
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 15-20
Damage Points: 30-40
Descripton: This technique allows the user after claping their hands together to make a spiralling vortex of water to form around them out of nowhere in a vortex like manner. The vortex then proceeds to cascade into an wave of water that rampages towards the intended target or all around. The size and power of the technique is dictated by the amount of chakra put into the technique, varying from C-rank to B-Rank.

(Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird โ†’ Rat โ†’ Ox โ†’ Monkey โ†’ Rat โ†’ Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

Tell me how you would use them, combos, defenses from the jutsu, etc. Everything but performing them :p

1st jutsu: As the start of the tech is a vortex of water around you which means that for that moment you are protected against various techs and that the jutsu can shift from defense to offense instantly make it a bit unpredictable. Because the wave of water has the power to push your opponent to the back I would use like spike of earth or metal etc. To form behind my opponent.

Countering that technique I would raise the earth in front of me preventing the water from reaching me and try let the water engage my opponent, which would then put me in the offense whith out wasting a technique. Then I could use like lightning jutsus in combination with the water.

2nd jutsu: if I'm fighting and opponent with greater speeds this jutsu would be perfect, sensing and knowing the position of the opponent plays a big part in countering. The jutsu is a supplementary jutsu and doesn't go easy with combo's,but I would use it in conjunction with the hidden mist the so it would be hard for your opponent to sense you and the rain tiger at will would make it easy for you to sense your opponent

Good, good! Nice job, a lot of people do the mist and rain technique to supplement each other xD

(Suiton: Suirou No Jutsu) - Water Style: Water Prison
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water by waving the Snake โ†’ Ram โ†’ Horse โ†’ Hare โ†’ Ram โ†’ Horse โ†’ Hare โ†’ Hands spread in front palms out. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.

(Suiton: Mizu Kawarimi) - Water Style: Water Replacement
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user can freely transform his body into liquid. This form allows him to avoid taking direct damage from many physical attacks but can not attack while in this form.

So the first jutsu, you perform hand seals and outstretch your arm towards your opponent. Then you release water from your mouth and manipulate it to form a sphere of water that traps your opponent due to the pressure of the water keeping him in place. Keep one hand inside the sphere at all times, meaning no more techs that require hand seals.

The second jutsu you basically turn into water. Not that complicated Lol.

Opinions on these jutsu?

I actual like this technique even though it has a lot of limitations, not being to perform any jutsus with hand seals might hinder you in battle, but having your opponent totally immobilized is an advantage

As for using it for defending it still has its pro's and con's.

Its a great evasive jutsu which would help you out of a lot of tight spot. But could be the cause of your death as well your opponent could simply use a lightning or ice jutsu to destroy you. So if the jutsu is used one should take note of the tim frame.
