Learning [Suiton] with [Kuroh]

In order to go into shape and nature manipulation, one must delve lightly into the core essence of chakra. Chakra is the physical and spiritual energy combination that exists in ones body. It constantly flows through a persons body, though some have greater amounts of it than others. There are those who have more physical than spiritual energies or chakra reserves than another. Now chakra can be released from one's body and be manipulated in various ways. These manipulations result in different effects and results, thus the basis of ninjutsu. Nature and shape manipulation, are the names given to specific types of chakra manipulations/mouldings. Without shape manipulation one cannot understand nature manipulation. Shape manipulation is literally the movement/shape of the chakra when being moulded, required for the technique to be performed. Certain techniques consist of higher degrees of shape manipulation than others, in some cases the more complex the technique is the more volatile it is. Though complex levels of shape manipulation tend to consume more chakra. This can clearly be displayed when you learn rasengan. For instance, one of the main reasons the technique does damage is not because it's a sphere of chakra rotating. But the fact that the chakra rotates at high speeds, at alternative angles making it more complex. The high speeds mixed with alternative chakra rotations, are severely compressed making it a solid mass of alternating, high speed rotations of pure chakra manipulation. Nature manipulation does involve shape manipulation but to a different degree which also gives you different result. Each nature is manipulated differently. Manipulating chakra in a certain fashion will result in the element being formed, but unlike basic ninjutsu. It consists of five basic elements, fire, earth, wind, water and lighting. Nature manipulation is very personal and relates differently to each individual. Allowing most shinobi to reach a maximum of two elements, with a few exceptions. Most have a natural affinity and secondary one, the secondary one generally needs to be found/trained out of him. To get into the specifics of nature manipulation, each one is moulded differently. Wind for example has an extremely lacerative nature. The manipulation requires is a multitude of small lines/threads of chakra fluctuating in a linear fashion against each other in opposing directions. This manipulation is still controlled and shaped then released to create wind currents and streams, which have that cutting nature, we all know.

I believe this is the next technique you are suppose to learn.
So gather and channel suiton chakra throughout your body. As you do so with usage of nature and shape manipulation, tranform your body to the one of water. Now whilst this technique is active, you will be capable of easily avoiding physical attacks but you won't be capable of making offense.

Description: The user can freely transform his body into liquid. This form allows him to avoid taking direct damage from many physical attacks but can not attack while in this form.

Now tell me what is speed of performance when it comes to this jutsu as well as why would you rate it as such speed. When judging the speed of performance I'd like for you to take into account the amount of time it is needed for preparation of technique as well as time in which it reaches opponent. Hand seals take quite some time and thus make a technique slower to perform. Speed can be either Slow,Medium or Fast. Also tell me what are advantages and disadvantages when it comes to this jutsu.

It forms at a moderate - high speed, simply because of the moulding required to make it appear. Even shadow clones appear at a moderate speed, even though it is the most instantaneous of the clone techniques, this is no different. The reason why it may seem instantaneous is because users of this technique worked well at concealing the substitution part of the technique. Though some take a longer time to form the technique depending on their skill level.

Disadvantage is that it has no offensive prowess, which makes it very difficult to delude calm collective fighters.

It is advantageous in the fact that it can be used to negate damage and leave you completely unharmed.

Concentrating on the chakra within my body, I then release a solid mass of it in a mitotic fashion manipulating it into an identical version of myself.

Alright, so perform a sequence which consists of 2 hand seals, Dragon and Tiger whilst gathering suiton chakra within your body before releasing it in your vicinity. Upon releasing the chakra use nature manipulation as to generate water and shape manipulation as to form a dragon with a gaping mouth. Keep in mind that water is in stationary state untill you send it to make an offense.

Description: The user after performing Dragon → Tiger will summon a large amount of water that will then be used to strike at the opponent in several versatile ways. It has been known to transform it into a dragon with a gaping mouth to attack. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent.

Speed is moderate, the technique moves at a moderate pace and takes quite a bit of time to converge and form.

It is advantageous in the fact that it can attack the opponent in mulitple ways, which can allow you to perform attacks from multiple angles.

The main disadvantage is the fact that it not only requires multiple handseals, it also takes time to converge and form which is very obvious in combat.

*Focusing I rapidly form two handseals and release a large amount of water. The water then converges with chakra manipulation, becoming a large dragon with a gaping maw as it travels upwards.*

Perform a Tiger hand seals as you focus suiton chakra within one of your legs. Stomp the foot in which you focused chakra as you release the chakra into the ground. With usage of nature and shape manipulation make the water rise up forming a jet. Keep in mind that this is projectile jutsu.

The movement of the technique is reasonably fast but it requires the user to stomp on the ground and form the water before it actually moves, I say moderate.

Advantage, it's a counteractive technique depending on how it's used but you can use this to defend and attack simultaneously. It's also very simple to use this for combinations.

Disadvantage, it requires a handseal and the stomp down. The handseal draws attention and the stomp, with the direction of it makes it simple to predict.

*I form a tiger handseal then slam my foot on the ground, spurring water to rise out. At it rises, I usher my chakra forwards making it assault my opponent at a quicker pace.*

Focus suiton chakra within your mouth before releasing it in form of a fast moving, compressed wave whilst using nature and shape manipulation. It's a projectile type of a jutsu. Pretty basic.

The speed of this jutsu is fast, though it lacks in size, the speed at which it travels makes up for it.

An advantage of this jutsu is that, it is fast paced and requires no handseals, this is extremely useful against projectile techniques.

Disadvantageous, because it is restricted by range and size. Thus making it quite simple to avoid and counter also because it lack killing force.

*I take a deep breath in allowing my chakra to converge in my chest. Then with a rapid motion of force I release a highly dense wave of water. The water travels at an alarming rate until it makes contact with my opponent.*

Perform a sequence of 6 hand seals, Tiger → Dog → Monkey → Snake → Boar → Tiger whilst focusing suiton chakra within your feet. Release the chakra into the ground before causing it to emerge from it simultaneously to you using nature and shape manipulation and forming water. Now this is one neat jutsu. You are capable of forming a water source as to perform jutsus that requires one or use it as for your summoning to be capable of being on the battlefield. You can also use it as a defense, forming a body of water with which you can block incoming attacks or even surround your opponent with water as to drown him.

Description: After performing the required hand signs Tiger → Dog → Monkey → Snake → Boar → Tiger the user makes water rise from the ground and they can use this water in various ways. They can create a body of water for a water summoning to be encased in and allow them to move around where normally no water exists, or create a body of water to block incoming attacks or surround his target and then drown them.

It forms quickly but the handseals make it a drag. Though as seen in the clip, it actually forms quickly once the water has been created and manipulation is simple.

Advantage, it can neutralise blasts and oncoming attacks very quickly.

Disadvantage, it lacks actual strength so it can't defend you from much.

*I form the handseals Tiger → Dog → Monkey → Snake → Boar → Tiger then release my chakra into the ground, then close my eyes manipulating the chakra to rise above and around me to form a dome of water.*

Anyhow, the next technique is a supplementary one and usable only if there is a water source. Gather suiton chakra within your body before releasing it around you. Using nature and shape manipulation form a body of water that will also mask your presence to an extent.

(Suiton: Suichuu Teigen no Jutsu) – Water Release: Underwater Motion Technique

It is a very quick acting and moving technique, though relative to elemental techniques it moves at a moderate - high speed

Advantage, this technique not only mask your presence partially, you can avoid oncoming techniques within reason with this.

Disadvantages, you are partially masked, physical movements can't be hidden, the user requires a water source and puts you at risk the moment you submerge.

*I walk towards the lake and take a deep breath then submerge into it. As my body becomes engulfed by the water, I manipulate my chakra to propel me as I make each stroke underwater. Timed precisely with each stroke I glide through it in an inhumane fashion.*

Next technique is pretty basic. Focus suiton chakra within your hands before extending it forward. Release the chakra from your hand whilst using nature manipulation as to generate water and shape manipulation as to make a jet.

It moves quickly not only because it requires few handseals but the manipulation required to perform it is very simple.

Advantage, can easly push an opponent away from you and can be used nicely in CQC

Disadvantage, it doesn't release enough water to kill someone and is severely limited by short range.

*Taking a quick moment to focus, I rapidly release a powerful yet short jet of water at my opponent.*

Alright, so for the next technique perform a sequence of 4 hand seals, Boar → Dog → Horse → Tiger, as you do so focus suiton chakra before releasing it into a nearby watersource. Mold the chakra with the water from water source before causing it to form a large spiraling stream whilst using shape manipulation. You are capable of controling this stream as to attack your opponent from different angles.

Moderate speed, the amount of handseals also makes it seem form at a moderate pace but, the size of it also slows it's momentum.

Advantages, it is decent when it comes to neutralising attacks but a nice trait is that it will laden the ground with water in a controlled manner which you can in turn use later in battle to electrify.

Disadvantages, It requires a few handseals and doesn't do a lot of damage and requires a water source to perform.

*After stepping next to the lake, I rapidly weave the handseals Boar → Dog → Horse → Tiger and force a large spiralling torrent of water to hit the opponent.

Oh once again use the water source. Focus suiton chakra under my clone who is standing on the water. Mold the chakra with the water before using shape manipulationa as to make a whirpool that will suck in everything in its range.

Fast, since he is standing on the water source it is easy to mould and quick to react.

Advantages, requires no handeseals and can easily take your opponent off-guard while they are performing a longer jutsu.

Disadvantage, it isn't enough to kill your opponent. It requires your opponent to be standing on the water source and has a range limit.

*Staring at my opponent I quickly manipulate the water underneath him, forcing it to whip the water underneath him into a vortex. It pulls him under engulfing him in water.

This next technique technique is quite interesting. It's actually a variation of water, flammable black oil. Now gather suiton chakra within your body as you perform a sequence of 3 hand seals. Ram → Snake → Tiger. As you do so release the chakra in your vicinity forming a cloud of black mist before causing it to move above my clone as you make it disperse covering her in flammable oil.
