Dean makes his way towards the training field, where he would teach a student a nice element, known as Rain Release. Rain was a skill that had become quite famous lately, and many people has come to Dean for him to teach them. He didn't mind, as he had mastered the skill himself a few months ago. Nonetheless, Dean finally arrived at his student, and with a welcoming face yet stern, he said;

"Hello there, my name is Dean Winchester and I will be teaching you Rain Release. First, tell me, what exactly is Rain Release? What does it encompass and what have you learned from your test for the ability?"

Dean then folds his arms as he waits for the man to answer him.

Rain release is manipulation of rain to perform ninjutsu, like stealth to attack the enemy or defend. It can be considered like suiton as it is essentially water realse but applied to rain. It can be deadly in situtations where heavy rain is present and techniques can be used without the enemy being alerted. In the rp in order to use Rain release you need to master water and wind release before taking a test.

I didnt really learn anything about rain release from the test.

 

[Detective L]

"Mhm, indeed. Rain can be considered a hidden ability and is very useful due to most Rain techniques being very powerful and sneaky. It is a nice skill to have and can be an advantage for you in battle. Anyway, make it rain (not with money pls)."

Dean then waited for his student to make it rain.

 

[Strawberry]

Forming a single handseal, i infuse my chakra into the rain in the clouds above manipulating them to fall down, making it rain everywhere. Next time it'll be raining puppies.

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

"Good, now my method is as follows. I will explain the technique, then you will perform the technique, give me at least 2 advantages and disadvantages, and how you would use it in battle. If you have questions, then ask.

First, combine your Water and Wind chakras to form into Rain chakra. Once you have done so, you will gather your Rain based chakra to your hands and gather the raindrops to your palms. You will then bring the raindrops together with some pressure, to form a pressurized orb. Once done, the orb will shoot towards the opponent and hit them with some blunt power. A nice technique, but relatively simple. Us it on my clone."

I gather my wind and water charka into my hand holding them out channelling the chakra into the falling rain drops. I manipulate the raindrop to form together and pressurize into the form of a compressed orb. Once completed i launch the orb towards the incoming clone striking him with the pressurized rain destroying him.

Advantages:
Can be used in closer proximity to the user than some other rain techs
a simple and fast technique to execute

Disadvantages:
-Not as stealthy as the other rain techniques i saw
- Created close to the user and must be launched at the opponent form your person instead of having it attack from above the opponent

I would use it when every rain is present i feel like a need blunt force attack to deal with a situation

Description: By focusing chakra into the user's hand they are able to gather rain drops towards their palms, the rain is molded together by chakra and forged into a high pressured orb. Once done the orb will shoot away from the users hand and the user will be knocked back. If it hits the enemy the enemy will be sent away flying or unbalanced.

"The next technique is a useful one, and I have used several times. First, create your rain based chakra and focus it into the falling rain, to change the very compounds of the rain. This allows you to form the rain into a sticky compound, which will bind the opponent for two turns if successful, and the technique also lasts for two turns. So it s great for combinations. Use it on my clone."

As i see the clone run at me, i channel my rain chakra into the falling rain above. I manipulate the rain drops to form into sticky compounds that fall onto the clone. The falling sticky rain drops build up quickly on the man's clone and bind him from moving for a short (2 turn) amount of time.

Adv:
- cool supplementary jutsu, capable of immobilising the enemy
- lasts two turns
- harder to detect

Disadv:
- isnt directly capable of doing damage
- jutsu is limited to mid - short range


I would use this to primarily immobalize an opponent and follow up with a swift jutsu to finish them off

Description: When user makes it rain and then changes the compounds of the water(materials in the air).Then makes the rain sticky which binds the opponent in place for 2 turns.this jutsu lasts for 2 turns.

"The next technique is another supplementary technique, which is quite simple. First, mold your Rain chakra, then create a clone from it, which is basically a reflection of you. This clone is unable to cause any damage whatsoever, and mimics every move you make, so it is just used for a supplementary purpose. A nice technique for planning a sneak attack or so, or just to confuse your opponent. Use it on my clone."

I channel my rain chakra into the rain falling beside me manipulating the rain into a reflection of me. I run towards the incoming clone and the reflection folows my exact movements making it harder for L's clone to determine the real threat. Taking advantage of that i punch the clone in the chest, dispersing it.


Advantages:
- Tacticle uses, can surprise an opponent
- Basic jutsu and very fast to pull off considering rain is present already

Disadvantages:
- Can't do any real damage directly
- clone is created short range and cannot perform jutsus

Description: This technique creates a reflection of the user, this clone is unable to touch physical objects or cause harm. Every move that the user makes the clone mimics at the same time. The reflection clone is destroyed after one hit, this is a tactical technique.

"Now the next technique is quite a sneaky one. Start off by forming your Rain based chakra, by combining Water and Wind chakra. After that, form a row of hand seals and use your Rain based chakra to conceal yourself with the rain itself. You will basically take a form that mimics Rain, which makes you invisible to the opponent, and allows for some sneaky attacks. However, fast movement, and physical contact will reveal you, so be sly when you use this technique. It was one of my favorite to learn, but I never used it. Nonetheless, very useful and can be used for various purposes. Use it to hide from my clone."

I focus my wind and and water chakra together forming rain chakra i channel that chakra throughout my body. Standing in the rain i manipulate the chakra to take on and mimic the form of the falling rain around me. Thus successfully concealing me within the rain. The clone that coming at me would believe i had moved somewhere or disappeared.


Advantages:
- allows one to conceal themselves
- can be used to surprise attack an opponent that is unaware
- didnt look at the jutsu

Disadvantages:
- user cannot realy move at all or the will appear again.
- Dojutsu users shouldn't have a hard time at all seeing you at all

I would use this jutsu in to launch a surprise attack but also only when the opponent doesn't have visual on me, would want to sue it right in front of them.

Description: A jutsu that can only be used in rain to conceal oneself, this jutsu is considered a dynamic form of henge. After performing a row of hand-seals, the user seems to disappear. In truth, they have merely assumed a form that mimics rain. Fast movements and physical contact with others may reveal the user

"The next technique starts off by once more creating your Rain based chakra and focusing it into the falling rain. This allows you to manipulate a single drop of rain, and making it more solid as you do so. Then using shape manipulation, you will make this rain drop extremely sharp and allow it to fall down in a straight line onto the opponent's head, killing him instantly. A sneaky technique and it is quite unfortunate that the raindrop only falls down straight. Nonetheless, kill my clone with it."

As i see the clone running towards me i channel my rain chakra into the rain falling from above. I manipulate a single droplet of rain making it harder and sharper as it falls, giving it greater damage properties. The droplet than falls onto the head of the incoming clone taking it out, as it goes poof.


Advantages:
- stealthy technique
- comes from above
- hard to see if at all without sensory/dojutsu
- can do significant damage if aimed at the right spot

Disadvantages:
- a single droplet has a higher chance of missing
- isnt as wide scaled, limited to striking a single target

I would use it offensively only, a stationary opponent without sensory would be the perfect target.

"Good, that's pretty much the best usage for that technique. Here you go."

Description: The user manipulates their chakra to condense a single raindrop into a more solid form. The raindrop becomes as sharp as a blade. The disadvantage to this jutsu is that the raindrop falls in a straight line.

"The next technique requires there to be water on the ground, which means it should have been raining for a while now. In this condition, you will manipulate your Rain based chakra and place it into one or more raindrops. Once you have done so, the raindrops will hit the ground and create small spikes from water puddles. This spike is of course, very difficult to spot without some form of sensory and wouldn't inflict massive damage but could hinder the opponent if it hits a vital spot. Use it against my clone."

as your clone is running i channel my rain chakra into the sky and into 3 rain droplets. The drops fall to the ground, as they make contact with the ground they form into small spikes from the puddles of water. Although small they make contact with the clones ankle giving him some small hinderances.


Advantages:
- comes from beneath the ground making it harder to predict
- due to it's size the attack would be extremely difficult to spot

Disadvantages:
- doesnt do much damage even if places effectively
- once again same with the last jutsu it isnt very widescaled quite the opposite.


I think i would prefer the previous jutsu over this, but if there was a situation to use this, i can see my self using this on an opponent running at base speed making the spikes occur right infront of them as they step into it.

Description: The user of this technique must place chakra into one or more raindrops. As the drops of rain hit the ground they create a small sized spike of water from puddles on the ground. For this technique to work there must be water on the ground and it must be raining.

"Now the next technique starts off by creating your Rain based chakra, and focusing it high into the falling rain, in order to condense a large amount of rain water to a single spot. Then with shape manipulation, you will form this mass of water into a spear of rain water. This spear can be called down at any time, in order to pierce the opponent, with a single hand seal. The spear stays in the spear shape for up to three turns, and if not used, then it falls uselessly as rain. The only indication it gives is a pause in the rain, where the spear is formed and the water is gathered. Use it on my unsuspecting clone."
