Alright 
Minato waits on the training field for his student, he was always early. He placed an FTG tag on the pole close to the training field, so that he could quickly come and train his students. Before him, a middle aged man, maybe younger came from a distance.
"Well then, it seems I am training you in the element of Wind. I am Minato Namikaze. I presume it's your first time training in this element? First, I want you to tell me everything you know about the Wind element in the Narutoverse, it's strengths and weaknesses, and known users of the element. Use as much detail as possible."

Wind Release, or Fuuton, is one of the basic five elements, along with raiton, katon, suiton, and doton. It is created by first using one's spiritual and physical energies and molding them together creating raw chakra. To create fuuton chakra one must apply their abilities of nature transformation to it. One must make the chakra extremely thin, sharp, precise, and very fast. Once this is complete the nature transformation will create wind chakra.
Wind Release is a unique element among the basic five. It not only uses precision and cutting but some of the techniques also utilize brute, concussive force similar to Suiton. This gives wind a situational advantage to Suiton. Wind is weak to fire release techniques as it feeds the fire, causing it to become larger and stronger. Wind will be cancelled out by fire when a fire technique one rank below it comes in contact with it. It will be defeated by fire and the fire will continue, stronger, if it clashes with a fire technique of equal or higher rank. Additionally wind is strong against raiton as it is a natural insulator of electricity. It is important to keep in mind the shape and size of the weak/strong jutsus. So even if the elemental advantage is in play one must remember that they cannot win against large scale jutsus with small scale ones.
As I said above, wind also uses concussive forces. This makes it a natural partner to suiton. Wind can be used in conjunction with Suiton allowing for very strong and fast combinations that apply extremely high concussive force.
A lot of wind techniques focus on their cutting power and precision. Making them very good as well for pinpoint attacks that can sever an enemy's body easily.
Wind is a component of the Ice Release advanced nature (Wind + Water) as well as Dust Release (Wind + Fire + Earth).
The most common wind users seem to come from Sungakure, the village hidden in sand. "I want you take this chakra paper, and focus your Wind based chakra into it. If done right, the paper will be cut in half, do it whilst meditating over there. Close your eyes too, and tell me how you do it in as much detail as you can."
Minato points to a nearby spot, where the Wind is blowing lovely, a great place to meditate.

Jugram takes the chakra paper from his senpai's hand and walks over to the place he was pointed at to meditate. With it he begins to visualize what the wind is to him. He closes his eyes and does what he has done for the previous elements. He thinks of aspects of the wind, its nature, its power. He begins to feel a breeze, air gently blowing past him. He can almost feel the hair on his head sway in the wind. Then it picks up. He feels a storm brew, signifying the wind's power to be peaceful and destructive depending on how one uses it. It reminded him of water. The peace of the calm breeze or the power of the storm. The reach of the wind can be large or precise.
With this in mind Jugram molds his spiritual and physical energies together creating his raw chakra. With the chakra he increases its speed in his body causing it to transform into wind chakra. This would be by using nature transformation. With this he sent the chakra down his chakra pathways to his hand's tenketsu where he released the chakra causing the paper to be sliced clean in half up the vertical.

I will explain the jutsu, then I want you to perform it with great detail. After that, give me at least two advantages and disadvantages of the jutsu and how you could use it in battle. Also ask questions if you have any.
Now for your first jutsu in the Wind element, I want you to mold your Wind based chakra, and release it from your mouth in the form of a small blast of Wind. A very basic jutsu, but it can be useful as it does not require any handseals. I want you to release that blast of Wind at my clone, as he throws a kunai at you, to knock it away! Do it quick though, as the kunai could seriously injure you if you don't blast it away! Immediately after noticing his senpai's clone running at him with a kunai in hand Jugram molds his spiritual and physical energies together to create raw chakra. At this point the clone has thrown the kunai and it is quickly flying toward him. Using nature transformation on his raw chakra Jugram increasing the speed and vibrations of it. This transforms it into fuuton chakra. Then he began sending the chakra, like he did with the chakra paper, through his chakra network to his mouth. Once he gathered enough he immediately released it as a small blast of wind aimed directly at the kunai to clash with it. The kunai and the wind meet knocking the kunai off course allowing Jugram to remain safe.
Well senpai this jutsu is as you said. It is very simple. Yet it has a few advantages to its use. First, for a D-rank technique it only costs 10 chakra which is very low. It is chakra efficient and as such can be used without many repercussions. It requires no hand seals and can be released almost instantly. And since the technique is created from wind chakra it moves extremely fast. Not as fast as lightning but not as slow as fire or water. You can also use this in a stream or projectile form. This allows for some versatility in its usage. With a projectile you create a separate entity from you. It is almost like 'spray and pray'. Once it has been released you no longer control it. One can also use it as a stream. This means you release a constant flow of wind from your mouth or a limb. The wind is still connected to you and as such you can redirect it with your head or your limb allowing you to chase an opponent with it or redirect it to block an attack. However you need to be careful when using a stream or else an enemy can send a katon your way and amplify it in size and strength causing it all to backfire on you.
There are disadvantages of course too. This technique has no fatal power behind it. They are just small blasts/stream of wind. Meaning you have to use something else to compensate for this disadvantage. The technique is also small in scale and as such won't be able to increase the concussive force of water very well (by combining suiton and fuuton you can increase the blunt force power of the water).
Now while it is a simple technique it can be used in battle. One can use it to blast wind at an enemy in short range mid fight. This can cause them to lose balance or redirect punches or kicks by blowing them away. One could also combine this with small katon jutsu to create slightly more powerful fire techniques. However one would need to do this in quick succession since they cannot use two jutsu at the same time, unless they have a clone. You can also use it as I just did - blocking kunai, shuriken, and other ninja tools. I can also use this to block projectiles of the same rank (as long as the size and shape is the same). So this could block D-Rank doton, suiton, and other fuuton jutsu. It can block C-rank raiton. However it can be overpowered and absorbed by a D-rank katon. So one should be careful about that.

Minato was surprised at his student's knowledge, he was going to become a great ninja. Minato then clears his throat and says;
"Very well done, I love the amount of detail put into the jutsu. Hope you keep it up throughout. Here is the jutsu you just performed. I usually show it to you after you do it."
Minato shows Jugram a scroll containing the jutsu.
"Alright, now for the next one. I want you to focus your Wind based chakra and mold it, then release from your mouth a gust of Wind that you use to blow loose ground from the ground, to lodge sand into the opponent's eyes. A very easy jutsu, only used to quickly distract your opponent, use it on my clone and throw him with a kunai after he is blinded by the sand."
Minato creates a clone that stands before Jugram.
"Now for the next one, it's relatively easy! I want you to mold your Wind based chakra and manipulate it to form a wall of spinning wind before you. This wall of wind can be used to throw back weapons at you like kunai and small weapons. Explosive tags would explode upon contact of the wind though, because of it's sharp nature. It can also be used to block close range attacks. So, use it against my clone who is running towards you!"
Minato creates a clone that runs towards Jugram.

Jugram molds his physical and spiritual energies together to form more raw chakra for the next technique. Then using his nature transformation he increases the speed and vibrations of the chakra to create wind chakra. With this he unleashes a gust of wind from his mouth powerful enough to pick up all the dust from the ground and blow it into his senpai's clone's eyes. The followed up by throwing a kunai aimed directly at the clone's stomach. The kunai connected with the clone and caused him to disperse.
Well I'll start it off with advantages. It is important to keep in mind that the technique is a regular gust of wind. All it is is that it is strong enough to pick up dust and loose ground and blow it at the enemy. So this technique can still be combined with a katon to improve the katon's strength. It can also be used to of course blind your opponent by lodging debris in their eyes. So that is great. Additionally, in close range you are able to use it to knock them off their footing which is always a good thing.
There are disadvantages, however. First since it is such a low level technique it can be easily blown back toward you with a higher fuuton or just countered with a katon jutsu. Additionally a lot of fuuton techniques can achieve the same effect. Any powerful gust of wind at any rank will have the ability to pick up debris. Higher ranked fuuton can even pick up large debris, rocks, and other stuff.
Overall while the technique looks cool it is really basic and isn't very unique. Most fuuton can pick up loose dirt and what not and blind enemies with if you describe it as doing such and use it that way. Additionally most wind techniques can knock someone off their balance anyway. This technique would be great though for an intense fight in taijutsu where you squeeze this in and blind an opponent.
Jugram once against molds his wind chakra and releases it in front of him. Using shape transformation the wind begins spinning in front of him forming a wall of spinning wind. Minato's clone continued to run forward and met the spinning wind wall. The sharp wind easily cut through the clone and dispersed it.
Well the advantages to this is that it can be used to block freeform taijutsu, kenjutsu, and kunai/shuriken (with the exception of explosive tags). This makes for a good quick counter that will keep you safe against these attacks as it requires no hand seals. Additionally it can protect against some close range raiton techniques or combine it with a katon in close range to deal some pretty serious damage to an enemy up close. Although keeping this in mind one would need to be careful using a katon in close range. It would be best to use a very small scale one for it to combine with the wind. Anything too great could be deadly to the user as well.

Which when used in close range it can be dangerous as one will have less time to react to incoming explosive tags. "Okay Jugram! While you are in mid air, I want you to dodge this kunai by molding your Wind based chakra and releasing it from your mouth in the form of a stream of Wind. This stream of Wind will help you to change direction in mid air, and dodge techniques. Use it to dodge this kunai!"
Minato then throws a non-FTG kunai ( ) towards Jugram, who has to dodge it.
"Okay, now for the next one. I want you to focus a great amount of Wind based chakra in your lungs and mold it, then release it in the form of a gust of Wind that lifts the opponent and rocks into the air. When they are in the air, the rock will hit the opponent. Try it out against my clone."

As the kunai flew toward him in mid air Jugram channeled his wind chakra in his lungs. He sent it up his chakra network up to his mouth where he released it in a stream that pushed him left to dodge the path of the kunai.
I'll start with advantages. First off this technique is great for a chakra efficient dodge. It is low in rank so it won't take much chakra for possibly saving your life. And of course you can use the technique to blow on the ground to create a dust cloud (although most fuutons can do this and we already learned a technique that has that potential written out in it :|).
For disadvantages. The most obvious and biggest one is that you can only use it in mid air. That makes it somewhat situational. So it won't help you while on the ground to dodge an attack. The next disadvantage is that it is a streaming technique and as such you can't use any techniques in conjunction with it assuming you don't have a clone or ally on the field.
For the next technique Jugram once again channeled his fuuton chakra into his lungs and exhaled it. Using his shape transformation he created a stream of wind that was huge in its range. It caused the clone of Minato to rise up and the rocks before him to rise as well. The rocks flew forward in the stream toward the clone. They showered him in a barrage.
For advantages of this technique. First off it lifts your opponent off the ground so most likely it will cause them to lose their balance. Jugram focuses his fuuton chakra in his palms and claps them together. This releases a gale wind toward the clone. Then Jugram immediately follows up by throwing a kunai straight through the current of wind increasing its speed and piercing power. It pierced right through the clone and caused it to disperse.
So cool technique. It has a few uses other than the simple kunai enhanced speed/piercing power. Which is great btw. But I would much rather use this in short range to knock opponents off balance since all it requires is clapping your hands together. This is great for a quick blow off their feet which can intercept a lot of incoming taijutsu. Of course the technique only reaches up to short range so you can't really use it for blocking or attacking at distances.
Jugram then once again focuses his wind based chakra and infuses them into two shuriken increasing their spinning power as they rotated on his fingers. He then released them and threw them at a second clone causing it to disperse.
So unlike the last one this improves slicing power of the technique. The last one just made it so the kunai can pierce through at much greater speeds. This one slices much harder which is different but can achieve the same results given size and shape. Unlike the last one though this one shouldn't be used in close range as it requires you to withdraw a few shuriken from your tool pouch. And if you do this while a taijutsu user is coming at you you most likely don't have a lot of time to waste doing that.
Both techniques are fairly straight forward and simple.

Jugram quickly weaves the Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake and focuses his wind chakra in his lungs. He then exhales it as a sudden and quick gust of wind from his mouth that blows his senpai's clone away very quickly. The sudden damage disperses the clone.
So I guess its a pretty typical fuuton. Despite its sudden nature you have to weave a few hand seals so if you aren't careful with the timing you could easily be killed. It has the power to blow away a single tree so it does have some concussive power. A direct hit with this would easily cause an enemy to lose their footing and knock them off balance. Plus if they hit something along the way and land a direct hit with their head you can easily use technique freeform and knock them unconscious.
So this technique would make a cool ability to combine with a katon with a clone. Its a fast wind blast so if you release the katon first and then release this technique into the katon you can create a pretty nice small firestorm that can kill an enemy.

So as you said this makes a great combination with fire. It makes a cool combination with any fire technique really. The thing to keep in mind with this technique is that the more tornadoes you release the weaker each one will be. This can be compensated for by empowering them with a katon. And if they are empowered with a katon then they will also be very hot to even be around causing the oxygen around them to drop in a low pressure area making it very hard to breath.

So with this technique as you said you can use it with the katon and doton. It is important to know that without a clone it will be hard to use all three in a combination as you can't do this without Yin and Yang Release (even then you only get to do two at once). So you have to take into account the order in which you use the techniques. For example use the doton first and then release the fuuton. Then immediately follow up with the katon. However since the doton will be obvious and this requires hand seals it will be very hard to prevent your opponent from interrupting you. So it does make a cool combination but it has to be executed pretty well.
