Kenjutsu or sword art that entail the use of swords.whether a user be a ninja or a samurai kenjutsu can be combined with ninjutsu taijutsu genjutsu and even with elemental chakra flow.
the well known kenjutsu user are samurai from land of iron seven swordsman of mist.

Parry: A parry is a fencing blade work manoeuvre intended to deflect or block an incoming attack.To execute a parry, fencers strike the opponent's foible, or the area near the tip of the blade, with their forte, or the part of the blade near the handle of the sword. Iaido
: is a modern Japanese martial art associated with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard
Counter: to evade or slip away
Cross-slash : is a recurring attack in the serial way.
Crescent:s generally the shape produced when a circular disk has a segment of another circle removed from its edge, so that what remains is a shape enclosed by two circular arcs of different diameters which intersect at two points.

Placing both hands on the hilt of your blade, i would like you to raise it above your head, making sure that it is centered above your head. In one clean motion i want you to swing the sword downward stopping when the base of the hilt is at the same height of your waist.

yes sir Darui can also imbue it with lightning-natured chakra to increase its lethality
-grabs the hit of the sword with my both and than i raised it above my head t be sure that i have raised it at the center i looked upward ad see that it was raised straight above my head making it centered.... than as you command me to swing the sword down i immediately swing it toward downward side than as the hilt was about to be at the height of my waist i produced an upward force to stop it immediately-

so no. no special abilities...

*i then stomp on the earth and large rampart grows from the ground. i then weave a row of handseals causing a waterfall to rain down from a top the plateau.*
Sit beneath the waterfall with your blade for 40days and 41nights. Upon the 41st day we'll try again.

- As sensei creates the rampart and waterfall i walked toward the waterfall and sat beneath . i kept my sword on my laps with eyes closed i started focusing on.*i failed in my first,i must sharpen myself* the waterfall pours down upon me.. *40days and 41 nights huh! that isn't too long..hears the sound of water tapping on my sword, i need to improve with all cost*-
