Leaf Villagers are hypocrites

They always criticized Naruto. Now, just because Naruto saved their life, they are acting all friendly with Naruto. If that's not being an hypocrite, then I don't know what it is.

Actually I made a thread yester day defending the villagers and the way they acted towards Naruto that thread is called "What if Satan was sealed inside a person" ha dwell on that

I mean, they viewed him as Kurama, who wrecked havoc upon the village and the world. It was only after he had proved himself (began around chuunin exams when he beat Neji) as a human that they began being friendly with him. Messed up, yes, but I wouldn't necessarily put it under the hypocrisy title. The friendliness was something that developed over a few years.

That's how the story should be; to emphasis his "worthlessness" to "usefulness", it's a trick deployed by Kishi to build the naruto's character.
