Leaf village is by far the strongest village

During the war arc they didn't even need to have there strongest ninja as Hokage who was either kakashi or naruto . They did the most during war to win it naruto , kakashi , gai mainly. Also their village is so powerful they had guys like sasuke , obito , orochimaru ,kabuto deflect from the village , also suffer jiraya death( who was at least mid kage level )and still be the strongest village by far . Even tsunade who is weak in comparison to other ninjas in the leaf pre pein arc is still stronger than mei and maybe could beat gaara . The sand village kage was defeated by the akatsuki and tsunade the hokage sent kakashi to defeat the opponents who the whole sand village couldn't beat .

The leaf has at least 5 people in the village kakashi , gai , naruto , yamato and danzo who could defeat other villages leaders kages low diff besides the raikage there wouldn't be much difficult . The only other village who is sort reasonable is the cloud who have killer bee , raikage and yugito but even then pales in comparison to the leaf village . the old man village is basically only him and mei is weak who could possibly get beaten by lee and neji .

Yes it is and it always was with the Uchiha's and Senju's... Only Yamato isnt strong enough to take on the Kages and Mei would beat Neji and Lee 1 on 1

Gaara fought accompanied by naruto , gai and kakashi anyone can look good when your around such great ninjas . Also the other time it was 1 vs 5 . Five kages who lost to Madara . Who naruto fought Madara one on one and Madara struggled , same as gai who fought jinchuuriki madara one on one as well . Both gave Madara a much better fight then the five kages would never be able to achieve



Gaara is overrated he has not shown that he can fight high level ninjas like many leaf village jonin have , Gaara struggled to beat a kage from the mist (weakest village) , he has no real accomplishments . Only reason he is a kage is because his village is weak af . orochimaru and kabuto killed gaara previous kage or predecessor low diff.

also yamato wood release is too much for gaara and naruto addresses yamato as "captain"

This ^ but Hashirama and Madara was in there own leagues, half of the other gokages back in there time is featless... Tobirama can match up to people like Lord Muu or the 3rd Raikage.

Sand: Chyo, Kankuro, Temari, Baki, and other nameless
Cloud: Darui, Bee, Yugito, Cee, others I forgot
Mist: Ao, Chojuro, other people
etc.. there are some strong but weren't shown
