This shall be a good place, the wind is powerful up here. Now I want you sit down and close your eyes. Feel the strong breeze around you whilst relaxing your body, and then I want you to think on the question, What is wind? What can Wind be used for? What are its strength and its weaknesses? and Also, I want you to name me 3 different Wind users from the Naruto manga, give it a quick thought. ^_^

I sit down at the mountain top whilst taking a meditation stance. I'd concentrate and evenly distribute my chakra throughout my entire body while feeling the cool, crisp breeze from the wind.

What is wind:
- Wind in general is a basic element that is intangible and mostly invisible to the naked eye. Wind is around us at all times of our lives, we breathe the wind/oxygen, wind is present in storms, hurricanes, tornadoes and things such as that.

- Wind in the narutoverse is again one of the basic 5 elements and imo the least versatile but also can be the most deadly if used properly.

What can wind be used for:
- If used correctly and with a good imagination wind can be used for a ton of things. It can be used nullify lightning or strengthen fire/water techniques when used in a proper combo. It can be used to dodge in mid air by shooting wind in a desired direction to push yourself away. It can also be used to make more advanced elements such as ice (when mixed with water) rain (when mixed with water) scorch (when mixed with fire) and dust (when combined with earth+ fire).

Strengths&Weaknesses:
- Wind is strong against lightning due to it nullifying its affects. Truthfully don't know what else its strong against, but that's why I'm here to learn.

- Its weak against fire techniques due to the fact that wind just builds on the the strength of flames.

On the thought of Wind being intangible, yes, same goes with it being not-so versatile. However that does not negate the fact that is is extremely good within its own aspect, it is fast, precise and has a tremendous cutting power. One thing you did not mention was that wind can be infused onto weapons, such as kunais or a sword. In doing so, the speed will increase by an extent, the sharpness will increase even more, making Wind extremely useful for weapons. When using it in combos, Wind adds to the element used before, or so to speak. So when using wind with a fire, the result will be a stronger, and more bigger Fire. With the water, the wind can be used to, increase the speed and sharpness like weapons, and in some cases when the two are combined it can form a vortex, which is actually also an A-rank jutsu we'll get on to later on.

Wind can also become Sound, when mixed with Lightning. The basis of wind particles utilized with the vibration from the lightning produces waves of Sound. Furthermore, you got the strength and weaknesses part correct, when in comparison to the basic 5 elements, this means that:

A rank Wind > A rank Lightning
A rank Wind = S rank Lightning

Vice-versa for Fire.

A rank Fire > A rank Wind
A rank Fire = S Rank Wind

When in comparison towards KG's and hidden abilities, this is Wind's Strength and weaknesses:

Strengths:
- Rain
- Storm
- Boil
- Bugs (blowing/slicing them away)
- Steam
- Sound
- Shikotsumyaku
- Paper

Weaknesses:
- Dust
- Blast
- Dark
- Ice

As you can see, Wind is generally an extremely powerful element, due to its speed and cutting. And for a final philosophical view, know that Wind is all around us. Just like the Earth, and like you stated, Wind is always present in both the Narutoverse and in the real life. Hence you can use that towards your advantage, that is when I believe Wind can be considered versatile, changing the terrain towards your advantage. You can form a wall of wind that blocks kunais and incoming objects of a not so great density, and like you said, use the wind to push yourself or your opponent from your previous location towards another one. For example; going airborne, and this can be applied towards objects as well, however we will go into this advanced detail further on in your training.

Now, getting into the practical point of view, stand up from your meditative pose and begin to concentrate on this new-found Wind chakra. Begin to channel it throughout your entire body and into the air that is around you. When doing that, use your chakra to pick up any form of sand and dust that is around you, from the trees, from the ground and from the air itself. Once done, you will have a layer in the air that is composed of sand and dirt, which can be guided based upon your will. Direct this layer straight towards your opponent, more so towards his eyes, where the sand will lodge up and temporarily conceal his vision.

One thing though;
Is it equal to water and earth jutsu?
I.e if A-rank wind and A-rank earth collide which will win?

I get up from my meditation form and stretch my body out to loosen up a bit. I'd then equally distribute my fuuton chakra throughout my body followed by letting it seep out of every point of my body in order to join with the infinite amount of wind breezing around me. With my chakra now infused with the air I begin to manipulate every tiny piece of dust, dirt and sand in order to bring them together and forcefully create a cloud of dust between me and you. With that dust cloud made I pick up the air current to make the dust shoot directly at your position thus obscuring your vision due to the dirt in your eyes.

And yes, sorry for not mentioning it before, Wind is neutral to Water and Earth. Which means

A rank Wind = A rank Water/Earth. When the attacks collide, they will neutralize each other and disperse. The water will scatter, whilst the Earth will break up, and the wind simply disperses. However that is if we're talking about the attacks being the same size. If an A-rank wind jutsu went against an A-rank Earth wall, but is about 10 times bigger, then it's a different case. As only the part that hits the wall is negated, the rest goes through and hits the opponent. That is one thing I want you to remember, not only in Wind, but in all cases of our RP, that ranks is not the only thing that matters. The size is dependent factor as well, you'll see that as we progress into our training, which is good.

(Fūton: Fūsajin no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Dust Wind Technique

Description: The user creates a gust of wind that layers an area in loose sand and dust. Doing so also acts as a sandblaster on the surrounding area. This layer of sand that accumulates on the trees during this technique makes it difficult for others to get a good footing. The initial gust can also temporarily blind opponents by lodging sand in their eyes

It's our first wind Jutsu. It can be used for defensive and supplementary purposes, one thing I would say though is that the dust and sand particles are all visible. Meaning the opponent would clearly see that you are going firing them at him, therefore it's good to be used at times when the opponent is not aware, and the jutsu in general is good for setting up a strong, offensive move.

Now onto the next one, I want you to re-perform what you just did. Flowing your wind chakra all throughout your body, and into the ground/air. In doing so, making your chakra utilize with the whole air rather than just the simple dust/sand. Once done, using shape manipulation, form a spinning wall formed from wind that is located in front of you. The jutsu can be used for incoming projectiles, such as a simple kunai or a shuriken, and incoming taijutsu attacks as the wind will cut your opponent up. However make sure not to use it against smoke bombs, as that will activate and damage yourself in the process.

While I'm doing that the air that is being manipulated is partially visible due to the air ripples but it easily deflects the incoming kunai.

It's safe to assume that the wall of air's radius will be a little bit bigger than the average ninja facing it, so about 4-5 feet radius is what I would say. Big enough to cover anything that is coming at you straight on, however if the trajectory path of the object goes further than the maximum radius of the wall, there is a chance that you may get hit from the sides or your back, which is a disadvantage of the technique. It only covers your front.

Now, just a quick question to test your knowledge, how would this go in effect if you used it on an incoming kunai with a explosive tag?

(Fūton: Sensougouheki) - Wind Release: Rumbling wind wall

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.

Now onto the next jutsu, which is a commonly used wind jutsu, and what you described in your explanation of the wind element. I want you to jump into the air, and release a stream of air from your mouth. The high speed of the wind and momentum of your body will cause you to move in the opposite direction to the wind stream. Meaning if you blow it to your left, you will move to the right. It's very good for avoiding jutsus, but you have to be in mid-air to use it. You can't use it on the ground to move into the air, but you can shoot dust particles into the air to conceal your movement to your opponent.

Well if it was an explosive tag attached I'm pretty sure on contact it would blow up in my face, and the wind itself would strengthen the explosion.

I gather my fuuton chakra within the center of my gut. After doing so I sprint towards a nearby tree which I use to jump off of and get a boost into the air. I'd then release the previously gathered fuuton downward thus shooting my body even higher into the air. After going higher I'd shoot more wind to the left which propelles me to the right so I land on the tree top..

Well if it was an explosive tag attached I'm pretty sure on contact it would blow up in my face, and the wind itself would strengthen the explosion.

I gather my fuuton chakra within the center of my gut. After doing so I sprint towards a nearby tree which I use to jump off of and get a boost into the air. I'd then release the previously gathered fuuton downward thus shooting my body even higher into the air. After going higher I'd shoot more wind to the left which propelles me to the right so I land on the tree top..

Correct, the tag will explode and the wind would only provide and oxidizing substance for the explosion to strengthen, you seem to catch its drift so we'll continue. :3

(Fūton: Kaze Ogawa no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Wind Stream Technique

Description: This technique allows the user to change direction in mid-air at high speeds by simply blowing wind out their mouth. The user can also use this technique by blowing it at the ground and causing a dust cloud to rise, concealing the users location and movement.

The next jutsu is really simple, and is also the last D-rank in the jutsu list. What I want you to do is, channel your Wind chakra around your body. And exhale a huge stream of wind towards your opponent. The stream of wind has an enough power to break the ground in front of your opponent. Raising rocks that will move with the current of the wind. Furthermore, your opponent will also get risen into the air, not much, only by 2-3 feet or so. And the rocks that got raised by the wind, will end up striking onto him, as well as your initial stream, forming a Wind and rock barrage.

Once you have done that, is there any questions you have on the D-rank jutsus before we move onto the C-ranks?

Due too the ground breaking, rocks and dust would fuse with the gust before it reaches you thus making the wind stream more of a dust storm. The wind would then begin lifting you off the ground while stray rocks hit your body and dust obscures your vision.

I have no questions about the D-ranks, except with each one I'm able to create mini dust storms right?

More or less that is precisely what they do as an additional effect rather than the main purpose of the jutsu, excluding the first one of course.

(Fūton: Kaze Iwa Rendan) - Wind Release: Wind Rock Barrage

Description: The user creates a huge stream of wind that carries rocks that lifts the opponent into the air where the rocks hit them.

Right, the next jutsu is quite essential and useful in our RP terms. Spread both of your hands out, your left to your left side and your right to the right respectively, and once done doing that, clap them both together in a quick, yet powerful manner. Whilst doing that, make sure to mold your Wind chakra around your body, when you are in the process of clapping them, release your Wind chakra at once in a powerful gale that goes in a forwards direction towards your opponent.

The initial force of the gale is strong enough to knock back an average ninja, however remember when I mentioned that Wind could be used with ninja tools? This can come into play here, if you throw a kunai or a shuriken before you clap your hands together. The speed, power and general ability to wound or kill is increased to such an extent that it can leave your opponent dead with a single hit.

*Raises two Earth pillars from the ground* As I told you, perform the first procedure on the pillar to the left. Then, re-perform the procedure but with a kunai involved, on the pillar to the right.

Without a moments hesitation I repeat the process again but this time I have a kunai in my right hand which I throw towards the pillar during the clapping motion. The resulting gale would add cutting power and speed to the kunai which in return desyroys the pillar on the right..

Description: A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

Now the next one is really simple and follows the same procedure of infusing Wind onto your weapon, making the weapon just that much more deadlier than it originally was. Using both your hands, grab a few shurikens in each, and whilst doing that, channel your wind chakra throughout your body and into the air, forming a ''bubble'' made out of your wind chakra that is visible and in front of you, make the same number of bubbles as the amount of shurikens you have in your hands. *Raises an Earth Pillar* And finally, throw your shurikens at the bubble, when that happens, the weapons begin to spin in an extremely fast manner whilst closing in on the pillar, increasing the speed, rotation and strength. Your shurikens will then cut through the pillar with ease, slicing and shredding it into many thousand pieces.

I build up chakra within my body again followed by releasing it out into the air currents. With that done I mold that chakra to form several(10) small spinning bubbles of invisible air in front of me, with that done I swiftly use both hands to reach to my tool pouches In order to grab 5 kunai and 5 shuriken. I'd then throw the kunai and shuriken into the "bubbles" in front of me which in return adds a powerful spinning motion to the weapons along with speed. The weapons would then blast forward at the risen pillar thus cutting it into pieces on contact.

Description: This technique will infuse wind-based chakra into bladed weapons. The user can than manipulate the blades in a spinning manner to attack the target.

*Shows a sequence of hand signs* Replicate the hand signs I just showed you, then channel wind chakra all around your body, and throughout into the air, then utilize it with the air particles to form a gust of wind that sends the opponent scurrying backwards, the technique is similar to the gale you learned earlier, however this one needs hand signs but is to a higher scale. As it can level most of the things that would be in your line of sight, such as sending a kunai back towards your opponent. I want you to perform the technique twice, once towards the terrain around you *points towards a tree* try to knock it down, making sure that the gust is supposed to be large and powerful, and once you're done with that, use a smaller-scale version to send this kunai back towards me *tosses you a kunai*

Be ware that once you have got far enough in Fire training, this is a perfect jutsu that can be used with a fire, to enhance it and make a fire/wind combination.

Description: This is a relatively simple technique that when the user performs the following hand seals Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake they create a sudden gust of wind, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.

Perform these hand signs *Shows* and concentrate on your Wind chakra. Channel it throughout your entire body and more importantly into your gullet. Where there, you will exhale a small stream of wind from your mouth. The wind itself will utilize with the air particles, and quickly form a gust of Wind, along with small particles of dust, though not any rocks due to the fact that it doesn't cut that deep on the Earth's surface. The gust will then move towards your opponent, only in a straight line, as it can't be directed by your will or chakra. The gust is composed of highly fast, rotating currents of wind that is powerful enough to cut off 2 inches of deep flesh from an average ninja, or even able to send him flying into the air, Team Rocket style. xD

Originally, this move is Temari's, however in our RP people can use without the need of her fan. But, if you were to have a fan in your possession, you don't need to perform the hand signs, only performing a slashing motion with the fan itself will do the trick.

After pulling out my war fan which is held in my right hand I'd do a horizontal slash from right to left. With that single motion I'd manipulate the wind around my area in order to create a gust of wind in front of me. As its heading towards you it sweeps up dust with it thus obscuring your vision from seeing me while the wind blows you back and does minor flesh wounds.

After pulling out my war fan which is held in my right hand I'd do a horizontal slash from right to left. With that single motion I'd manipulate the wind around my area in order to create a gust of wind in front of me. As its heading towards you it sweeps up dust with it thus obscuring your vision from seeing me while the wind blows you back and does minor flesh wounds.
