You seemed to have put quite a bit of thought on this. It's almost a shame I have to completely destroy your claims.
Kirin has the power to obliterate a mountain. Raikiri can make a hole the size of a car maybe. Clearly if the two clashed together, Raikiri and Kakashi will be blown away.
However, that won't happen. Kirin can strike the ground in a fraction of a second. Let's assume Kakashi has his Sharingan active and has already made the Raikiri. Even then, it's impossible for him to react to and move his body to counter the Kirin in a fraction of a second. Even by Narutoverse standards, the Kirin would hit Kakashi before he even realizes it has moved.

I honestly don't know how it would go down.
All I'm saying is that Lightning blade has the power nescacary to cut it, I don't know if Kakashi could though.

raikiri was originally named after kakashi cutting through lighting. Since kirin is lightning so raikiri wins

Lightning blade is a LIGHTNING CUTTER KIRIN IS LIGHTNING.
Kirin is just more desturctive due to it's size, scale it down to kakashis lightning blade size and it's proably inferior.

Yes, but Kirin isn't scaled down to that size, now is it? Meaning Raikiri isn't superior. Meaning Raikiri loses. You can say "If Kirin is smaller" all you want. Fact remains, it's not and Raikiri is inferior. Move on.

All this dude is trying to say that whether or not Raikiri could slice through Kirin if Kakashi's been given all favourable circumstances...
It's not like which one's better or stronger or faster...
Acknowledging that Kakashi will not be able to do so in the manga...

Ok going by the Manga and by what Guy said about Kakashi splitting a bolt of lightning with Raikiri then he should also be able to cut Kirin as well because Kirin is pure lightning, Sasuke just uses his chakra to shape that lightning in a dragon and guide it towards its target, but in the end it's still a lightning bolt. Yeah it reaches the ground in 1/1000th of a second but that is just lightning and Kakashi already cut that, meaning he has the reaction time needed. That is if what Guy said was true, otherwise he doesn't stand a chance.
If we just compare the 2 and not put them against each other then i think Kirin is stronger and more devastating although it takes time to prepare. In the end it all comes down to the situation you are in and what kind of attack you need. I mean why obliterate a whole mountain when a Raikiri to the chest would do the job.
