In today chapter it was 500 Million+ Law also got 500Million Bounty as well

Definitely not to portray them as equals. Luffy is the one that saved Law's ass, it's very apparent that Luffy is stronger than Law. I think it is because of Law's position that makes his bounty equal to Luffy's. For one thing, Luffy's rose more than Traf's did. And for another, Trafalgar also resigned as a schichibukai therefore it is natural he will get an extra padding to his bounty as a result of that.

Oda's been trying to portray that since the beginning...its nothing new.

If all these plebs actually read dressrosa properly they'd know Law = Luffy.

Jinbe saved Luffy so both their bounties were put at 400,000,000. They weren't equal.

Now Luffy and Law gave an alliance so their bounties now are 500,000,000

After he had already fought, Luffy didn't show anything to suggest he stood a chance against Doffy 1v1. Doffy survived everything Luffy had in that fight and Luffy would be dead too if he hadn't had help.
