Not an implausible event but Oda isn't atype of writer that kills an important character off panel. So we can bet on Law being alive.

Well, am I the only one who thinks doffy hasn't killed him but is just about to? If I remember quite well, doffy was like "I'd like to see the shock on his face when he sees your dead body lying here"
I actually think the part that says "law's dead" is just to keep the hype up. Kind of like leaving us hanging on the cliff just for the thrill of it. That's just my opinion thou
