It can be beaten by a lot of people, a rinnegan user can push it away or absorb it, susanoo can block it for a while if your strong enough, amaterasu could burn through it probably, water and ice styles would turn it into a large rock, plenty of weaknesses. Wouldn't even be able to use it in Kisame's water bubble thing since the environment is completely flooded.

Kisame is Lava Releases weakness, his skin dries the Lava on contact.

Doesn't Mei use Acid or Melt Release, while Roshi uses Lava Release. The one that Roshi uses looks very powerful especially Fire Fruit Mountain. I think it's likely Hiruzen had Lava release and we haven't seen the strongest Lava Release techniques yet.
