Most people don´t even realise how huge area of effect (Aoe) that jutsu had and how amazing is the fact that Madara tanked it explosion
First lets see size of JJ Obito barrier
You can see how huge barrier is compared to mountains and Madara PS which is inside it.
Second lets see how big Shinju tree is.
As we can see Shinju tree is so huge that OBito barrier can´t even hold in inside it.
Third lets see what damage Lava rasenshuriken did to Shinju tree.
Lava rasenshuriken Aoe is so huge that it completely covered entire Shinju.
And more astonishing is that JJ Madara tanked this attack even without immortality he would later had thanks to Shinju.
