The Rasenshuriken is just high level shape transformation, But naruto usually uses Wind Chakra for it. The Lava rasenshuriken uses Lava chakra from the four tails.

The entire shuriken is burning, indicating that the entire thing is comprised of lava/fire. & When you compare it to a normal FRS it becomes even more clear. [

The YRS is more rigid than the FRS which is clean & sharp, the chakra blades are made up of different elements.

When Sasuke combined his Amaterasu with Naruto's FRS, it turned the entire attack into black fire. That doesn't mean that wind charka was absent. It merely increased the power of the attack.
