Those 100,000 Zetsus were supposedly created by Madara using The 1st Hokage's and his own DNA.
Deidara was summoned with Kabuto's Impure World Ressurection jutsu.

I don't think they said they were created by using the first's DNA. They were created using chakra from the tailed beasts that he had collected. Deidera was summoned with Impure world ressurection and will be going with Kabuto to look for Naruto using his clay figures.

i personally think that zetsu is an experimental creation by madara. he may have used the first hokage's cells and the chakra from the tailed beasts to create the 100,000 zetsu bodies whereas the real zetsu is a combination of that plus madara's mind since the zetsu's bodies donnot have amind of their own. realise how zetsu's black half seem to know everything and how the other white half doesn't. i think the black half is directly linked to madara

Zetsu original was created from Madara and First Hokage DNA, Madara use the tail beast chakra to mass produce them in record numbers for the war, Their Madara's Soldiers.
