Tyrion finds his place, arya stark is on a roll, Jon snow was a baws. And the white walker commanders (I think that's what the one who faced Jon was) were scary as shit xd

I am so hyped for the next episodes, god if the new book comes out this year, Imma buy the entire set.

Spoilers for those who haven't watched it yet.

Man the battle sequence was impressive. Now we know that a sword made from valyrian steel can kill a white walker. Unfortunately valyrian steel is very rare, but I believe it can be forged from dragon fire, so I think Dany will be playing a big part in this in the future.

I just watched it. Bloody hell I'm pumping adrenaline and I think my mouth is foaming from the excitement. Not just best episode of the season so far, but one of the best ever! Didn't even remotely conform with the books (well at least not in the current ones), but holy cow .-.

I really like that it's a surprise to everyone now. I do not read the books, might one day, but it's cool that everyone is on the kind of on the same level in terms of knowledge.

Episode was so good. Really suspenseful.

Spoilers ahead,
But I thought it was already confirmed that valyrian steel kills the whitewalkers, because as far as I know that fat guy was continously referring to the blade as Valyrian steel in the last season and then they suddenly shifted to Dragon glass, I don't know why...
And damn you I was planning a sig from the latest episode xd Well I'll settle for an avatar now :p

Just watched it like 2 minutes ago man was this the best episode of the season so far or not
I liked the whole season man :p at least way better progression than the last season.

Best episode of the season BY FAR. Hardhome blew me away, now I know where all the funding went to.
Exchactly. Though I also liked Ghost scaring the shit out of those crows :p

Yes, it was simply amazing.
xd

Same as me xd, I have no Idea why I watched it this early now I am left wanting for more for a longer time than you. >_>
Well since you have read the books, does this make the books boring? because I have had experiences where I have hated certain movie adaptations of a book, on the contrary I loved the books. I am wondering whether it will be an opposite case with this series :erm:

Why bother ? King Stannis has plenty of Dragonglass at Dragon stone.

OT: The episode is worth the wait, everything is perfect Dany and Tyrion conversation... thank god that stupid girl didn't throw him in the dungeon she finally did something smart by asking Tyrion to become her advisor, that was the best decision she made in the entire series.

And whatever that bastard Ramsey planning to do with 20 men, this guy has truly overestimate himself and ofc he underestimate King Stannis, should have stick with Roose plan to holed up inside the castle and repel the attack,

The last 15 minutes is just... i don't know what to say, everything happened so fast that i needed to take a leaked twice during the whole scene LOL and of course pause the video to catch my breath, and that

Not entirely, there's still a difference as they have regularly changed things from one character to another. For example in the books Jon Connington, someone who has so far not appeared in the TV series, is the one who gets greyscale and not Jorah Mormont.

So because of that knowledge you're always asking yourself whether something is going to happen and if so whether it's going to happen the same way. So it creates a kind of different suspense than when you didn't read the books.

I first watched the first 3 seasons I think of GoT and I liked it so much I started reading the books. Books always contain more information, more character etc. than TV and movie adaptations. GoT is very unusual though as the current season is in fact already covering things that have not appeared yet in the books, that were scheduled for the next book. They have also been diverting much more frequently from how things were done in the books. That creates an odd feeling as you don't know where either the books or the TV series are getting at, so it's difficult to say you prefer one over the other as you don't know the end. For instance the last book stopped with Jon planning the rescue of Hardhome, it has yet to occur in the books, but based on how it was described in the books, it was probably going to be very different than the series. But yeah it's not possible currently to make a comparison.

But to understand all of that, you need to have read the books. I find them good regardless.

True. Speaking of Mormont, I like him a lot and I do wonder what will happen to him now. I can see him dying easily now and that's fine because he's been around for a long time, but that feels maybe a bit too obvious. I don't know. Interesting nonetheless.

I guess its difficult to say, when the series has not reached its end in the books or the series.
I think I will watch out this season, then perhaps (If the new book is not announced yet) before the start of the next season I'll buy the box set (I am guessing rates would go up drastically if George R. R. Martin decides to launch the next installment) and finish reading them.
Or I can again put a plug on the buying book scenario until the next one comes, but it would mean a long wait for the last book (If this comes to be a 7 part series). Darn you martini >_>, I cannot decide.

Best episode of the season for me. Had a lot of interesting parts, plus, Tyrion and Danny had some awesome interaction.
I think Tyrion was perfectly on the spot when he said, "Cersei think she is Tywin Lannister with tits, but she is not" :lmao:

Valyrian Steel can kill White Walkers. Bad ass z,z
Read my reply to flakes.

Olly though, that kid better chill out. I don't want him to do anything rash.
I don't think he will, especially after his counsel with sam. I even get the feeling he is Lord Commander material.

Haha I hope you're right. I suppose the Hardhome mission was a failure, since 90% of the wildings got killed, and 95% of the wilding Jon brought with him were women, children and the sick. The Watch woun't be happy about all the new mouthes to feed.
