Last two pages similar to last scene in fight club? lol

Is it just me or did the imagery of the last two pages make you think of the last scene of fight club? Explosions and everything crashing down as he snaps out of it and grabs her hand? haha

He was in emotional panic as he was confronted by the villain. While all over the surrounding area his "henchman" had just laid bombs. He snaps out of it as his girl came along, the one he has pretty much tried to ignore. His confidence is rekindled as the bombs go off. Everything begins to crash down as he grabs her hand and watches it fall.

Certainly a different setting, but the emotional imagery was very similar.
