Why can people neg-rep you? It is not nice. I get neg-repped for saying Tobirama has a more diverse skill-set than Minato, and a minato fan neg reps me and says fail. Is there any way mods can take neg repping off?

Sometimes negative repping is appropriate but it seems like its mostly used to bully.

Neg reps dont even bother me... they barely even have an effect on me.... not that i get any

So many people get butthurt over negative reps. I personally use + reps for posts i like or agree with, and -reps for posts i don't like and don't agree with. Yet everyone gets personally offended when I -rep them.

Most people on here are kids who will simply neg rep you back.... plus its abused all the time...

You can just earn more positive rep to overcome some neg rep by just being a decent person. Don't let neg rep bother you, the guy felt you deserved it, so he gave it. Can't police peoples feelings.

Negative rep is supposed to be used for people who abuse others, or bash characters. You might as well report them too. Not just used for disagreements.

That's what reporting is for. Reputation is for personal matters and posts that are relevant to the thread. Why would -reps and reporting be the same thing?

Next time just report the post which you get neg rep for and the admins decide if it was abuse or not. Or you may get all the rep fixed whether positive or negative for such episodes.
