so just 5 mins ago my laptop screen turned black and it went automatically to the user screen where i can choose which user to log into

then it was back to normal but after a m in the same happened but this time the laptop shut down like it does when you close the laptop. when i pressed the start button it went to the user screen

Bad idea. Free antivirus programs are usually the shittest. If you gonna use Windows use Norton for an antivirus.

Lel, you don't need to use antivirus, you need to use your damn mind in order not to get viruses.

OT: OP your problem could even be a hardware one, as your computer seems to set itself to sleep mode randomly. A virus could do that too but that would only serve as a troll virus.

Lol , it's simple tbh. just go to your prefered search engine and type in How to restore (whatever windows you have goes here). Then follow the steps. hope this helps.

Dude, use restore/clean install as your last resort, restore will delete/uninstall all the programs installed since the creation of last restore point and clean install will wipe it out.

Do a thorough anti-virus/rootkit scan.
Also check your sleep setting, like Frankenstein said it could be your messed up-sleep setting.

If everything else fails then restore/clean install.
