You spelt father as farther two times lol. And dude iron sand and gold dust isn't literally sand, their well, gold and iron. Its magnet release. Its just that it looks like sand

i know i have bad habits, and no matter the iron came from the hard metals ground up from deep beneaath the ground so really every where is his advantage, and gold dust floats above sand for a while rendering it useless enough for him to get a attack in seeing as gaara has no other means of defense
