I don't think a god gave him his powers either. I don't even think Jashin exists. It's been said in the databook that the cult gave Hidan his immortality, meaning they had more of a hand in it than Jashin.
It's just better for Hidan as a character to simply not wind up locked in one of Orochimaru's hideouts u_u

It would be better for his character to be a test subject than simple being a head in a hole

He wants uchiha tho not just immortality or a body with a great kekkai genkai like kimmimaru

There's literally an entire laboratory filled with Uchiha eyes. They aren't exactly a rare commodity anymore

One when did orochimaru get access to it
Two he wants a body and the uchiha eyes not just one of em so he doesn't have it where it uses more chakra like kakashi or danzo

If he found that lab wouldn't we already seen that by now and madara body we don't know if he dead or alive and how is orochimaru suppose to get it?

He will probably just pick up Madara's dead body. Obito abandoned it before the war. Kabuto has ways to spy on everyone. He knows about it. That's why he decided to help Sasuke. He needed everyone out of the way and to end the war so he can go back

U can't transfer yourself into a dead body tho if u could they would've let kimmimaru die then do it that way

I don't find any death of a named character in the series to have been lame.

Definitely Madara. The way Kishi built his character up to a superior, god-like being and then toss that all out in one panel was really lame. It was disappointing to see a great villain being defeated in such a random and disgraceful fashion. That ultimately contributed to his below-par written death, imo.
