Lack of cool female characters?

I like Tsunade and Mei and them but I feel like the only cool, badass female characters were Anko and Kurenai.

Of course they got completely screwed for part two.

What do you guys think.

I feel like Anko Isn't given much credit.. She's supposed to be one of Orochimaru's successes but everyone wipes her so bad.

They are all cool characters if they were just shown and developed more. They all have interesting background stories.

I don't care for konan though, and I just don't know what you guys see in kushina.

Kushina and Konan are the best, Sakura irritates me but her character is like the most developed and well-written of all the female characters, Karin is slightly worse but she's funny, Mei and Ino are nice but got no character developement at all. The rest are basicly paper fodders imo

I think Anko and Kurotsuchi and chyo baa are cool character but they lack developement :erm:
