As someone who hates musicals I was pleasantly surprised with La La Land. It was beautifully shot and it looked great overall. Visuals are something I always appreciate in movies.

I don't really watch musicals, so I have no opinions of musicals in general (except Alexander Hamilton which is 10/10). But I thought La La Land's ending perfectly tied the movie together. I liked the "bad" ending, would've been cliche otherwise lol
