In this thread, i'll give my calculations concerning 100% Kyubi's height(so before being seperated in 2 by Minato). To rate it, i started rating his head in comparison to Madara. Narutopedia has Madara at 1,79m but judging by the manga it can't be possible since he should be taller than Minato(who is 1,792m), so for the sake of it, i decided to rate him at 1,81m

1- Kyubi's head

You must be registered for see images

On the above pic like you can notice Madara is 17px. Concerning Kyubi, we have a tilting line, meaning that we'll have to use the distance formula for an exact value of the distance, which is D = sqrt(X^2 + Y^2)

X represent x-axis coordinates of the line
Y represent y-axis coordinates of the line
sqrt represent the square root
D is the distance we are looking for

Like you can see on the picture i already calculated the distance on the picture. So Kyubi's head is roughly 423,2px on the picture, like i already compared it to Madara giving the result of 24,9*Madara(roughly)

Madara being rated at 1,81m, it means Kyubi's head is roughly 45m

2- Kyubi's size

Having Kyubi's head as a basis, i can now rate his entire size thanks to this picture below

You must be registered for see images

On this picture like you can see Kyubi's head is rated to be roughly 93,62px when Kyubi's entire size is rated to be roughly 580,38px. To calcute the distance D, i used the same distance formula previously mentioned D = sqrt(X^2 + Y^2)

X representing x-axis coordinates of the line
Y representing y-axis coordinates of the line
sqrt representing the square root

Making a comparison between Kyubi's head and his entire size on the picture, and we find out he is 6,2*bigger than his head only(roughly)

So we can tell that Kyubi is roughly 279,3244m

PS: If you're interested, check this as well U_U

PS2: I know pictures can be inconsistent in this manga, but threads like this is only to have a rough estimation ;)

Kishimoto is very inconsistent with Kurama's size, all you have done is give a possible size.

Nice calc; but Kishi is not consistent with these type of things, he is not capturing he moments of NV, he is creating that universe so not everyhing have to be accurate with each other.

Good job. Though then scan measurements are not always that accurate, but still, good job.

Your calculations are faulty for three main reasons.

1.

You took in consideration of the distance but,not the angle of his body or the manga panel which distorts the true distance.

2.

The distance can never be measured because the view is from third perspective view from behind hashirama and the shot is of that particular panel is depicted at a high altitude with smoke and the mokuton branches blocking out the background giving no outlying indicators to contrast the head with. You no way to find out the distance and no way to compare the head for contrast.

3.

And since your initial step is already faulty your next step is wrong because its work is based off of preconceived notions.

Im afraid that Kishimoto is so inconsistent when it comes to size of various things that threads like this are pointless.

It indeed look like there is a size problem judging by this picture, but you sure Kishi told you that? Lol i want the link :p

You can't measure anything! I still don't understand why people can't comprehend Kishimoto doesn't get a ruler out and start drawing everything to scale.

Not even an estimate is possible.

Question. I am aware that in some countries what I would refer to as 45.31 is 45,31. However, here the comma is used to represent thousands.
Thus my question to avoid confusion. Did you measure The Kyuubi to be 279 Meters?

so the kyuubi is more than half the height of shinsuusenju? its pretty obvious that your scaling is flawed.
