He is is recognised as the strongest of the bijuus who are all immensely strong. He can fire bijuu damas to destroy large mountains and small islands.He has like infinite chakra:naruto took of all of kyuubi's chakra but it still could create a bijuu dama many times it size. When someone does not have chakra, he dies/cannot move because he is extremely weakened. He cannot pull out his strongest technique in a weakened state but that was what kyuubi did with only half of its power.The other half was sealed by Minato with the Death God.

Even if kyuubi has recovered partly, he was still able to give naruto huge chakra in his BM. Naruto was able to fight on par with the other 6 bijuus and even create a mountain sized bijuu dama. I affirm that Kyuubi was not at 100 percent because he got all his chakra taken off recently by Naruto during his fight.
You remember that fight with orochimaru and the three/four tailed naruto.

Imagine if A large kyubi did this. Everything in the surrounding will be destroyed similar to tenpenchi
Kyuubi can do large shockwaves with a swipe of its tails. This is a fact since Four tailed naruto used a similar move to destroy orochimaru's snakes at once. If kyubi did this, he can destroy surrounding mountains or a village with its hand(paw) and possibly its tails
When Naruto fought kyuubi, he used a giant rasengan on him but he just blocked it with his tails. This is an incredible feat because the rasengan was one third or half the size of the kyubi. So it should have done serious damage on him if kyuubi was 'just' massive. The effect of the rasengan was the same oodama rasengan would have on a normal ninja but kyuubi just countered it.
Rasen shuriken damaged Kyuubi because it does damage on a cellular level. When Naruto used it on kakuzu, the latter could no longer move even if he still had a normal heart.All of his cells were damaged for eternity. Tsunade forbid naruto to use rasen shuriken(S-rank) for this same reason. If kyuubi had all its power, he would not have been damaged.
At that time,kyuubi was not taking naruto seriously.He lied down until naruto has met his mother and after naruto decided to take his chakra at last.
So, kyuubi is the most powerful by feats. His only weakness is sharingan/rinnegan.These two eyes are effective on anyone, any creature excluding clan members possessing these eyes. Besides, Madara has PS but still chose to control the kyuubi. He knew that kyuubi was more powerful than his PS. PS can defeat bijuus up to hachibi IMO.
Those who say PS sword can beat kyuubi, I can tell you that the giant rasengan that jiraiya used on pain does more damage. It's the same like comparing a small rasengan to a small powerful sword. Rasengan will surely shatter the sword.
EDIT: of course Juubi is more powerful. I didn't include the juubi because he isn't at perfect form and only showed up recently.
