Awesome thread. Kushina's feats are impressive already considering that childbirth is just really nasty in general, let alone jinchuuriki birth.

The comparison to Naruto was interesting, however it's also important to consider that Naruto had been fighting, he's taken some big shots and he's been expending chakra in attacks and such. And while childbirth undeniably weakens the seal, I didn't see anywhere in the scans saying that childbirth depletes her chakra too.

Still, that doesn't take away from the fact that she survived a full kyuubi extraction while Naruto died right away from half-extraction. I'm a huge Kushina fan (as my location shows) and this thread gave some new insight into the character for me. The willpower it took to not only survive the kyuubi extraction, but hang on long enough to use chakra chains effectively is just downright godly and is more impressive than any Karin feat

Naruto was getting healed and chakra was being restored by kurama yet agian he might have not been 100% on shape
