Kishimoto is doing this on purpose. He wants the reader to catch on to the inconsistencies. He wanted to remind folks about Kushina (Karin apparent kg), he named the chapter Absolutely. This is just part of the build up to the reveal. People convincing themselves otherwise and trying to justify how it could be true is also a part of self delusionment. That's not a criticism that is how we are all wired.

Kurama FEARED being sealed again! If he feared it that meant he feared death as that would be the only way out of the seal. Hence he feared death. Kurama doesn't want to have to reconstitute himself. We don't know enough about the process to say its better than being in the seal.

It was their decision to die by sealing away Kurama in Naruto. That doesn't mean what they did is the only way. btw, they weren't morons. They chose the right decision to save the village.

Well compare the two scenarios and compare the STATE of each Jinchuriki:

Kushina: Strength enough to stay concious after having the full kyuubi extracted, strength enough to reason well, strength enough to do what no other shinobi in her Era could do, Suppress the Kyuubi for a time. Likely to live if she had not been killed by the claw. Enough chakra left to be sealed within Naruto, chakra that was capable of suppressing the kyuubi for a while longer.

Overall it seems to me that her strength was not waning in any massive way.

Naruto: Chakra exhaustion, battling for days, likely hungry. Previously injured. Mentally taxed with maintaining chakra shrouds. Madara likely ripped the chakra through his connection to each chakra shroud of the SA leaving only Yin shrouds behind. Not conscious in any way, So low on chakra his heart can no longer beat on its own.

Overall it seems that his chakra level is far far lower than Kushina's were when she died. And Naruto would have died if not for Sakura massaging his heart.

Chakra is an expression of the bodies strength, physical energy from the cells, and the spiritual power or will of the user. The fact that Kushina still had so much chakra to use indicated she would have survived. Naruto on the other had may have the will but his body is failing him.

Right decision considering their own specific knowledge. Ultimately it seems it was ignorance on their parts that lead to their deaths. IE idiots.

they didnt know kushina would have lived, back then Kurama h8'd humans etc, but now he is narutos friends and ofc provided the knowledge to save him, if kushina was friends with kurama she would prolly still be alive etc.

Kushina was already weakened by childbirth in the first place, so I think that gives Kishi enough room to fit this fix in.

Not to mention the seals you used for Kushina and Naruto are different. Naruto's was made to blend w/ his own chakra.

The problem is that we've never seen anyone have a bijuu resealed into them, so we can't know if it's actually supposed to do anything. Also, there's a theory now on how only yin-Kurama can save naruto by being resealed into him. Even if it is a bit of an asspull for going against pre-established facts, as long as there is an explanation for it that isnt completely ridiculous, i'm ok with it.

Kushina was not a perfect Jinchuriki. Kurama would not willingly allow it.

Now Kurama has accepted Naruto, well you know the story.

exactly, naruto befriended that kurama....and to our knowledge, kushina didn't..at least not like naruto did. if kurama knew something like that at that time, what makes any of us think he woulda handed that knowledge over to minato or kushina? jinns probably had been extracted before and caused their human hosts to die because there were probably alot of them who hadn't controlled their tailed beast or developed a relationship with them and thus the theory develops that jinns will die no matter what from extraction. not to mention, kurama was extracted for quiet a while from kushina where as naruto has only been dead minutes so far..that could also help out but basically its not surprising that this could have been possible for kushina, but no one knew it would work...otherwise i will be very f*kin pissed at minato for not saving his wife and child by splitting the kyubi into her and naruto...or for not putting the fox half in himself and half in kushina and sparing their dang kid the heartache.
