That wasn't insensitivity towards Sarada. That was just disagreeing about what should be done with the bagged lunch. The fact that Boruto actually changed his mind and handed over the bag after considering Sarada's point actually shows sensitivity rather than insensitivity.

Sarada was trying to be considerate to him and he brushed it off. That's being insensitive. He changed in the end though.
