Well, Rin kinda killed herself (she put herself infront of kakashi) so rin is the one who set off the chain of events?

If we blame Rin we might as well blame the Hidden Mist for forcing her to become a Jinchuuriki. However, I'm going to blame Obito for removing the Nine-Tails from Kushina and controlling it to destroy the village. Though, Obito lost control and the Nine-Tails consciously killed Minato and Kushina himself.

Obito is responsible. Extracting nine tails from Kushina was a death sentence for her and anything that got in its way, and Obito was fully aware of that.

well Obito I suppose.. although MInato said if he knew it was Obito then he would've done something more.. T_T so sad..
but Kurama is helluva strong powerful chakra... <.< maybe MInato / Sarutobi could've used clones to seal kurama together.. that way only the clones would've been gone forever with a bit of their chakra though as payment..

1. Kurama killed a lot of people, not just Minato and Kushina. Did you forget Iruka's parents and countless Leaf shinobi?
2. Obito was not in control of Kurama for the whole time.
