Don't worry akashi will get his ass whooped within 3 chapters.

Last chapter is the old friend of kuroko, i think he will talk to kuroko then kuroko will go into zone. Making the zone wireless to all his team mates making them invisible therefore kuroko -> akashi

Slamdunk is older though, so with that come the obvious differences between older and newer anime.
At least Slamdunk is actually realistic, unlike this fantasy basketball going on in KnB.

Old school manga are always the best. Slamdunk is a master piece, Kuroko is nowhere near Slamdunk.
