Kurenai Yūhi is better in genjutsu than Sasuke!?

On Narutopedia Kurenai got 5 points for her genjutsu skills while Sasuke got only 4... agree?
I do not agree...

Yeah. Maybe. But one on one Sasuke wins. But Kurenai can beat many people with Genjutsu only. After all that's the only s*** she did.

I think its the other way around. Itachi would be at the top then kurenai then sauske. although sauske would be better at knowing that he was in a genjutsu and breaking out of it. kurenai not far behind but better at creating them.

Sasuke's Sharingan Genjutsu isn't perfect, but he uses it like a pro.

He broke out of one of the strongest Genjutsu ever shown, but that could be put down to his uncontrolled rage.

Kurenai wouldn't beat Sasuke because Sasuke is better overall, more diverse if you will.

It probably means she has better genjutsu skill and knowledge. But she still doesn't have the Sharingan, a tool which should put him over her in that regard. I don't think it counts Sharingan perks in the DB (if you choose to follow the stats, that is). I think it mentioned somewhere that Itachi and Kurenai had near equal genjutsu ability (which would make sense since they're both 5) but proves that the Sharingan doesn't come into play as Itachi clearly had the advantage in their skirmish.

apart from itachi most genjutsu cast on top tier ninja failed. kurenai's genjutsu failed against itachi. sasuke's genjutsu failed against diedara and danzo. the only reason why he got danzo the second time was because of danzo's over confidence exploited by sasukes skill and cunning. Obito couldn't beat kakashi in genjutsu although neither could kakashi. In short only itachi has been able to land genjutsu successfully on multiple top tier opponents.

I agree. Genjutsu is her specialty and is the basis for her fighting style whereas sasuke as only been shown being able to recognize genjutsu and been able to use tsukuyomi

Kurenai is better at genjutsu, but Sasuke could easily break it.

She has superior skill, knowledge, and probably application. Danzo noted his genjutsu was noticeably lacking compared to Itachi, and outside of Tsukiyomi... Kunai is not too far behind Itachi in genjutsu. In a fight Sasuke would likely be able to see and break out because of Sharingan move reading... But overall yes her genjutsu is better.
