He sealed off the "Yin" so that Naruto could control the 9-tails chakara. The 9-tails just have unlimited chakara reserves. I think Minato knew this. One thing for certain is that all of the 9-tails "Yang" chakara is gone forever. Or else Naruto wouldn't be able to control the 9-tails chakara.

I'm sure he can still bring back the Juubi seeing as the 9-tails is still alive after its dark chakara was sealed off. The Juubi might not be as strong as it once was but w/e. As long as the 9-tails is still alive is all that really matters. All they are doing is combining all the tailed beast together into one life form. So even though the 9-tails dark chakara was sealed away it wouldn't stop them from being able to bring back the 10-tails since the 9-tails is still alive. It will just weaken the 10-tails from what its original strength once was.

Hey I have always wondered, If this is how OP Naruto is with half Kurama's power then what would he be like If he had the other half.

He might not have been able to beat/control kurama in the first place.

Kurama might have a diffrent personality.

Tobi wouldnt be able to resurrect the full juubi.

These are just things I think of in my spare time and I wanted to know what the Base though af all this...

I believe its more like the sage's case, cause when he
died and sealed the 10 tails inside of himself they were
all released as separate beings. So im thinking that when
Minato died, Kurama became whole, or regained his "power"
back. But that would raise the question if naruto could
handle that power, and or if kurama's personality change.
But with the theory of half of kurama being sealed away
would crush the moon plan.

My opinion is that we don't really know about the ying part of the chakra. At least i don't know. What does that represent? Does sealing the ying half really affect the strength of the kyuubi? Does it regenerate over time? It has not been explained in the manga.

Well idk, but remember when the third used the same jutsu minato did on orochimmaru's hands, they got better somehow, i dont remember.

If oro's hands could get better with the same jutsu pretty sure that the ninetails would have no trouble in doing so as well.

imo i think it has regained that half of its chakra .. if not why would naruto have to go through all the trouble of getting rid of the kyuubis hate in the first place if all this "dark" chakra was already removed ?
secondly, chakra replenishes . its not like once you use chakra its gone forever

Minato sealed half of the 9-tails chakra. Chakra replenishes .But since the 9-tails had lots of chakra it took quite a while for it to fully replenish.

He did not seal chakra capacity, he sealed chakra ability. He sealed the Yin half of the Kyuubi's chakra, disallowing him to use that part of his chakra. The overall capacity of the Kyuubi remained the same, with half of it temporarily drained by the seal.
