Kurama's Jinchuuriki ~

Now, I'm not sure if this was a mis-translation or not. But back when I read through the Naruto vs Kurama arc. Kushina stated that only an Uzumaki could be the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki. Normal shinobi wouldn't be able to handle the power of Kurama.

I'd say this loosely translates to the Senju aswell, since both clans are closely related. Which would mean, that the only reason Obito and Madara are able to host the Juubi is because they have Hashirama's cells.

So then, that would mean that say a kid like Konohamaru would never have been a suitable host for the Kyuubi. Is this true? Or did I read a mis-translation?

You have to have large enough chakra reserves to be able to contain the bijuu. Konahamaru doesn't appear to have a suitable amount of chakra to be able to contain one, let alone the powerhouse kurama.

We'll madara technically controlled the kyuubi to a perfection and he's an uchiha. So I'm gonna say that anyone with large chakra pools can do it. Remember typically if you take chakra from kyuubi you have to give him yours

Kyuubi not so much, minato is the yin half jinchuuriki of the kyuubi

I think you are right but I can't remember the page or episode where it was said. Well funny thing is if that's true then senju and uzumaki are close not distant relatives. Could start a new sage is uzumaki argument.
