Kurama's eyes when being controlled by Obito and Madara.

As far as we know only Madara and later Obito have ever controlled the nine tails. When a tailed beast or animal is being controlled by the sharingan. The sharingan pattern get reflected on the victim's eyes.

When obito controlled kurama the sharingan pattern was reflected but it changed and kurama's pupil dilated.

When madara controlled the kyuubi, its pupils didn't dilate.

As one can see from the above scans, Obito's control causes kurama's pupils to dilate while madara's does not. Now some of you might think this is a minor thing but kishi dilibirately drew 3 panels showing kurama's eyes goin from its normal pattern to the sharingan pattern and finally the dilated sharingan pattern. I think there might be a reason for this.

Perhaps Obito's control over the nine tails is more absolute than madara's. Granted madara can also control the kyuubi well enough. It could be that obito's genjutsu skills might be better than madara's( I don't know this for a fact mind you).

Obito has more genjutsu feats than Madara. So Obito > Madara in genjutsu. No argument required

I guess they wanted Obito's control over the Kyuubi to appear less noticeable, to explain why nobody noticed the Sharingan on the Nine Tails and why, when the series started all those years ago, that the Nine Tails was explained to be a "Natural Phenomenon" that appeared to destroy random areas "just because". If you think about it, it makes sense to have Obito's control over the 9-Tails sly and subversive, that way no one could guess that an Uchiha was behind the attack and the Nine Tails was written off as a Natural Disaster.

I think both madara and obito genjutsu is on par, kishi just gave more details to obito than with madara

with obito, we saw him summoning kurama

with madara, we didn't, does it mean obito more skilled in summoning jutsu's??? get what I mean?

I didn't say other sharingan users couldn't control the bijuu. The main point of thread is whether obito has better control or not. And why kurama's pupils dilated when obito was in control.

By the way the rinnegan can also control bijuu.

It seemes the opposite to me. I guess its just a matter of perspective but i think madara being able to keep the 3t eyes up on the kyuubi means his genjutsu is more dominent.

Obito was trained to control kurama by Madara and he also has senju dna of hashirama who also controlled kurama.
Kurama was wild and free when Madara got him. Kurama was chained from Kushina when Obito got him.
Big differences. Also Kurama is surrounded by Mokuton so Hashirama might've been slowly freeing him .
