Kurama's eyes were just dilated in 501-503

I recently read a thread by Owarij that said Tobi was controlling Kyuubi with his MS/EMS in 501, 502 and 503. The basis of his argument revolved around these two images:

He stated that in 501 (pic 1), Kyuubi's eye is changing from 3 tomoe to some unknown MS/ EMS (he proposed it was Izuna's MS) and that Kishi conveniently left it out. He also said that Kishi left out the design as it was changing back to 3 tomoe in 503 (pic 2). But I'm am making this thread to argue his point since his thread was closed.

I'm proposing that what we saw in these two pics was nothing but PUPIL DILATION caused by Tobi entering Kyuubi's subconscious. Think of it as someone possessed or in a zombified state. It would make sense that their pupils are dilated as they are being controlled/ manipulated.

The weakest point of his argument is that multiple shots of Kyuubi and Tobi are shown between these two images and none show any form of MS/ EMS:

Notice how Tobi's eye is always 3 tomoe and Kyuubi's eyes always resemble the fully dilated state shown in his first two pics?

To me, its very clear that this is nothing but pupil dilation and I wanted to throw this out there because so many people were convinced by Owarij's simple argument. So everyone who agreed with Owarij that he was right, please calm down on the matter.

tobi was controlling the kyuubi. the kyuubi eye is a slit kinda like orochimarus eye. now we seen tobi put the sharingan on his eye and the three tomoes spread out in his eye so he was being controlled. also im starting to think you do not need the ms or ems to control the fox. a three ring sharingan and how charka levels is all you need. even when madara took control of the fox he did it the same way tobi did with the three tomoe sharingan.

madara at that point im sure had ems but it is showing him with 3 ring taking control over the fox.


also did you not realize that the rings spread of to the outer eye. you can still see half circle were the the rings are. thats why when he is losing control over him you see it return.

and the only person to control the fox with the sharingan was madara makes me wonder who tobi really is

I agree. IMO Kishi just hid Tobi's MS to keep the Tobi=Obito/Izuna/Madara theories alive because their MS haven't officially been accounted for yet. If he had shown us Tobi's MS and we didn't recognize it, then we would know it's a new character

obitos ms is in kakshi eye so we know what it looks like. uchiha madara took his brothers eyes and we know what izuna ms looks like. he used three ring cuz thats all you need

Ofc he was. I was only pointing out that his eyes were a DILATED 3 TOMOE. Not a MS/ EMS that was only partially shown.

Of course he was being controlled, but his eyes were dilated in the form of 3 tomoe. The ring shown in pic 1 shows the sharingan line and 3 tomoes getting further from the center as the pupil is dilating.

I just wanted to keep the explanation simple, but YES he was controlling him.

I believe he has MS, like I said though Kishi is hiding Tobi's MS because we would figure out who Tobi was if we saw it. And if it was a new MS that we didn't recognize then it would automatically kill off all Tobi=Obito/Izuna/Madara because those MS are the only ones that are still officially unaccounted for

From all the shots we have seen of Tobi and Madara controlling the beasts, its always been with the 3 tomoe. For this reason, we have to assume for now that its possible with just 3 tomoe.

Though Itachi/Sasuke implied that MS is required to control the beasts, so perhaps BigFoot is right, and Kishi is only hiding the MS to keep the suspense up.

But one major point I'm making is that in these chapters, there was no hint of a MS/ EMS being shown, it was only a dilation of his 3 tomoe.

I don't think it's a clone of Madara but it could be a brand new character. As for Izuna's and Madara's MS, I believe Madara gave his Rinnegan to Nagato for him to use it. Although many people on this site disagree with me because it hasn't been 100% confirmed yet, but I think it's obvious... So that IMO eliminates Izuna's MS and Madara's MS.

As for Obito it was shown that his right Sharingan has been destroyed, although once again some people on this site disagree with that because it's not 100% confirmed, and believe somehow Tobi got it and upgraded it to MS...

So IMO because people believe those two ideas and Kishi wants to keep the suspense up, he hasn't shown us Tobi's MS

I think its pretty clear that Nagato's rinnegan was Edo Madara's original rinnegan. First off, Tobi said it used to be his (when he was still impersonating Madara) and Madara said he awakened it before he died. Since Izuna and Shisui died after giving up their eyes, it makes sense that madara died after giving up his rinnegans. So yes, Tobi is using Madara's old rinnegan.

As for who Tobi is.... I'm sort of past Tobi being a Zetsu-Madara clone. I still think his body is mostly made of Zetsu in order to live longer, but I'm starting to believe he is another soul in Madara's decaying body. I have a theory on it and two predictions:

Basically I think he survived the battle with Izanami and that tech allowed his body to live on after he died with a new host (Tobi).
