In the recent chapter Kurama said he would be put to sleep.
Could be permanent, meaning Naruto won't get full 9 tails as he will be too OP.

Kurama just simply needs to replenish his chakra that's all. Narutos probably going to get full kurama next chapter since yin kurama is low on it.

Inside Naruto is 'yin' Kurama, and went to sleep because after busy gathering chakra for Naruto.
The Kurama outside is 'yang' Kurama, but the 'yang' Kurama will tell 'yin' Kurama inside Naruto

sleep here means that kumara has given his last bit of chakra & went to sleep for rest & recovery of chakra.As we get exausted we sleep not die
