Kurama only at half strength?

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the yin side or basically half of Kurama's chakra sealed off by Minato when he used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to seal him in Naruto?
Wouldn't that mean that Kurama is currently still only fighting at half his chakra capacity and thus half his power? And still he manages to pawn the other tailed beasts. Is this a mistake on Kishi's side?

I believe kurama was only weakened so he was capable of fitting in Naruto body. But he may hav recovered over the years. While Naruto is growing.

the other half was in the scroll 'the key' i suppose but since naruto has now got it i believe kyuubi is at full power now

That was the point of the thread there, the only thing I could come up with was plot no jutsu.

But Minato has not sealed just Kurama's Yin chakra for good, but the Yin part of it's being ... cause Tailed Beasts are living chakra.
If things partially sealed from Reaper Seal do regenerate, then Orochimaru's arms would heal cause it was only a part ... U_U
