any one notice this?we already know kuma is a warlord/Shichibukai

The Shichibukai, the full title being Royal Shichibukai (王下七武海 Ōka Shichibukai?, literally meaning "Royal Seven Warlords of the Sea"), are seven (though this number fluctuates throughout the series) powerful and notorious pirates who have allied themselves with the World Government

so we already know kuma is a Revolutionary.what is the main qualification to be a warlord?be a pirate?so kuma is a [former pirate? after revolutionary army] or any one can become warlord? or did i miss something?

what do you think please i need an answer.thank you.

I'm pretty sure Kuma was a pirate but a commander of the revolution at the same time. Or a warlord could be anyone with great influence.
-Idk how far you are in the Manga, but we are told that Buggy becomes a warlord and he is far from being a powerful notorious pirate.

I think its all about influence

Edit: I believe Perona stated before being pushed away by Kuma, that Kuma was a violent and powerful pirate and that's how he got the nickname 'The Tryant'

well as long as there name is feared and vow to fight for the navy when called upon i don't think it matters, But they did pick him to be a mindless robot so that makes me think they did it because of his ties with dragon and the revolutionary army so he couldn't feed him with any information that could pose a big threat to them. That's just my guess tho.

I don't think Oda made a mistake at all. What interests me is why did Kuma volunteer to remove his memory and help aid the government. I understand it's a trust thing and to compensate for letting the SH's get away but still.

Just an assumption that is plausible.
