both were damn best.but i liked naruto more.
i mean it was zangetsu who taught ichigo the final technique of his zanpakto against aizen. and isn't it true that the hollow and zangetsu got mixed together.and people complain that kishi @sspulls thing even when he forshadows everything unlike kubo.no one steals his title of trollking.dat kubo.

There's also the fact that "Zangetsu" is quite abnormal - its manifestation being a defined person or mirror of Ichigo, rather than the more animalistic and chimera-influenced manifestations of others' Zanpakuto (where we have canon art of them, at least).
If I had been watching the series more closely, I might have caught it - but it was a very interesting 'twist' to the plot that had been there for us to see the entire time.
