Looking back, I've realized that Kubo has always provided hints regarding Ichigo's powers.

-AFAIK, no other Shinigami or regular human has shown this feat

Also have you noticed that when Ichigo enters his Mind/Dreamworld whatever you want to call it, he ends up slowing and/or freezing time for a period? Every time he goes near death something alters and slows time and he is empowered and put back on his feet. Obviously except when he gets killed like against Ulquirra.

What? Narutos entire character was foreshadowed. The nine tails was the key to stopping madara from the get go and naruto being the child of prophecy to reform the ninja world was foreshadowed in the first manga chapters. Now its painfully obvious but you could go back to early chapters before child of prophecy was even mentioned and dictate how his character would play out.
