Krillin vs. Tien

I don't know if this was filler or not, but didn't namek saga tien take care of Jeice or Butter? If so, then he stomps namek saga Krillin.

Anyways, both in their prime, Tien turns him to dust with tri beam, strong enough to hold back form 2 cell, and would probably have killed form 1 cell if used on him, but he didn't because it was out of character.

Well Tien has a third eye lol I wouldn't necessarily say he's human, an earthling yes, but even that's debatable.

Well Tien has a third eye lol I wouldn't necessarily say he's human, an earthling yes, but even that's debatable.

Krillin doesn't have a nose yet he is still considered human, therefore tien is human too unless stated otherwise

The third eye is most likely symbolic like his name. Tien is the Chinese word for Heaven it appears in Daoism, Confucianism and, depending on your denomination of Buddhism. It could likely be a reference to Dao considering we already have the bald monk Krillin. The third eye as well as the mind's eye is also prevalent in Daoism referring to the stages of Qigong or simply clarity of the mind. Tien and the third eye are both within many martial arts so his physical third eye is probably just something to add to the motif.

I'm going to say Krilln for all post Saiyan Saga. This is likely premature of me since my DB memory at this current point in time is dependant on the bits and pieces I remember from watching the Abridged series. However, I'm pretty convinced based on what I do remember. If I'm so inclined to come back here (which means I get done with my homework and am bored enough and remember this thread) I'll explain. However a big chunk of it comes from the fact that Krillers had his potential unlocked and has probably spent the most time with King Kai aside from Goku having been killed the most. Whether or not training happened through all those excursions I'm not sure, but it'd make sense.

Tien gets overhyped since he eats, sleeps and breaths training like the human version of Goku. Krillin gets underrated because he dies all the damn time, but Krillin gets the most action of the two and is actually pretty damn strong. Though I do think he's on the bottom when it comes to the relationship with 18, which I honestly wouldn't mind if she were my woman.

Gurus potential unlock made his power constantly increase while on Namek and krillin is used to fighting people stronger than him
Look at his performance against nappa compared to tiens. Krillin is nimble skilled and not to be judged by his lil size and lack of smell.
Both in prime idk tien has the feat of surviving a kick from buu but Krillin did survive gokus punch but we kno in both cases full power wasnt used

Tien is from an ancient clan of Triclops who were not said to be of earth or of another planet, nonetheless, he is not human. Krillin may be the strongest human, but Tien is not human, he has three eyes, you can't dispute that. Anyway, the only win I really see for Krillin is the Saiyan Saga and Buy Saga, only b/c I liked his hair lol

I can dispute it because the daizenshu(data book), manga and toriyama refer to him as a human. The 3 eyed clan thing I only saw once in his tenkaichi 3 profile if that's where you sourced it from then the source is not as reliable as the data book, manga and words of the original writer

So you have an English version of the data book? Because I've seen earthling and human interchanged quite often, there's a difference, and I don't know where the source came from, I read it online, but it wasn't from the game, I'm still not convinced, I believe Tien to be superior, I'll have to find where I read my info from.

Sorry I don't personally own it, the data book was translated in dbz wiki. I believe tien is superior too but this was the statement made by toriyama shortly before the movie came out.
