Kotoamatsukami the most restricted MS Ability?

The ability seems pretty OP but you can only use it once in a lifetime.

Without Senju DNA you need to wait 10 years to use KA again which sucks major **** compare to Kamui , Susanoo,Amateratsu and Tsukyomi.Other than that, Shisui is featless and he doesnt have any advantage.

Danzo couldn't control the eye, so he needed Senju DNA, with it, it shortened the waiting time. Without it, it would've been 10 years.

Honestly, I believe Danzo took Shisui's eye during KA's cool down.

I don't see any other way unless it was during Shisui's sleep.

Unless KA only works when the.victim is unaware of it so Danzo took precautions before engaging him.

Or perhaps it really went down how it did in the anime.

that was for anyone besides shishui. well maybe an uchia could use it more often. but shushi didnt have to wait ten years, thats for sure.

No one knows how long Shisui had to wait or how many times he could use his MS jutsu KotoAmatsukami in succession.
He had two eyes that could both use the jutsu though.

Shisui apparently used it during his situation with AO & Yagura perhaps, and I doubt that was 10 years between that and the time he was gonna use it against Fugaku , before the massacre.

He could probably use it more frequently , but Itachi apparently had a Kotoamatsukami that had to wait a decade to recharge as well. That's what he told Killer Bee anyway. However, maybe he told Killer Bee that because Killer Bee wasn't a Leaf shinobi and he didn't want him to know Leaf secrets, just in case.

Or maybe, since, Sharingan lineage come from the Juubi and Kurama is apart of the juubi, when Itachi placed it inside Naruto, Kurama's chakra bonded with the Mangekyo sharingan recharge time.

The eye contact requirement or not.. Danzo had white bandages on and Mifune's eyes were visible. Danzo might've hidden his sharingan, but sharingan can see chakra (sasuke saw deidara's chakra underground) Danzo might've seen through the bandages & at Mifune's chakra (if MIfune has chakra) even though he wasn't activating any jutsu.

Since it allows you to enter the mind of the other person (in a sense) maybe it requires "head" contact. lol Or maybe the target doesn't have to look into your eyes, but you have to look into their's.

"Sighs" the 19 year limit was for danzo itachi said he would have had to wait a while if he wanted master which I believe he meant unlock it after impacting it in his eye

Itachi it would take at least another decade before Shisui's Mangekyou could be activated again discounting Hashirama's chakra there is no hints that Itachi was talking about just the crow that is just a theory so the ten year limit that is canon.

The ability is pretty much an instant win, since it doesn't even require eye contact to work. Although I'm sketchy on how long shisui could use the technique. Hashirama lowered it down to a few times a day, however hashirama DNA is usually the epitome of nerfing limits, such as Obito's kamui. If Shisui didn't have the decade cooldown it was still problem a few days or so.
