Right, Tobi, Kabuto, Danzo were after a weak eye/genjutsu, sure....Itachi and shishui had to hide his eyes from the world cause it was weak.... danzo destroyed it to stop it from ending up in tobi's hands because it's weak... Itachi destroyed it to prevent it from getting in anyone else's hand because it's "weak"
