It is overpowered and it's deserves the hype people are giving it, the tech was too Op that is why kishi had to kill Shisui and destroy both eyes

Its one of the most treasured abilities out there. Obito wanted it for danzo to destroy it and the same can be said about kabuto who nearly had an orgasm when he found out that, shiusi's eye was still in existence.
You know its op when two power hungry opponents want it.
You know its op when its existence has been erased completely

Koto isnt overrated, its the highest genjutsu/class of caliber, its like inzanami it dosent need eye contact

Here's how I see it. The jutsu Danzo used was NOT KA. This could be the whole 1 jutsu in 1 MS eye, the other jutsu in the other eye. To me, the jutsu Danzo used on Mifune does NOT require eye contact. However, it manifests itself differently than KA. The jutsu that Danzo used can only strongly suggest a certain course for one to go in, but they won't necessarily go do it for sure. KA on the other hand overrides everything in forcing you to do it. This means that Danzo's can be used relatively unknowingly in public, which makes it more useful in certain scenarios (like the summit).

KA to me DOES require eye contact. We can sort of infer this when it was used on Itachi. Once he made eye contact with the crow, he was caught in the genjutsu. This is of course, only my opinion on the matter.

it is op.its true power has not been known since it has not been seen used by an uchiha.it is regarded as the strongest genjusu in existence.with it in hands of anyone the 4th world war would have become completely one sided so kishi had to get rid of it in a nice way.
