They think that the decision was made on their own without realizing they are under influence. Although it's strength lies in secret since not everyone has the Byakugan. They won't know if KA is being used or if it's their own decision. Although if it's something extreme (suicide, attacking an ally) then they might suspect they are under KA's influence.
