![]() Looks | 外見 When it comes to the looks of Fuma Kotaro we would start from the head. On his head he has a helmet. The helmet covers not only the head but it also covers his eyes to keep his actual identity a secret from his victims He also uses it to defend himself from Visual genjutsu. Under his helmet he has a fiery red color of hear resembling the hair of the Uzumaki clan. On his cheeks Kotaro has red war paint on his cheeks falls from the front of the helmet and it rises back as it goes towards his ears. With the helmet there are a couple of straps that go down Kotaro from both sides before they meet tied to Kotaro chin His armor consist of the vertical pattern of two colors black and white. On his shoulders he does posses shoulder guards that has the same design at the visor on his helmet. On the right arm Kotaro has the sleeve of the outer wear that runs down to the gauntlet that covers both his forearm and his hand. On the other arm there is a sleeve made of chain male that runs to the end of the shoulder and the beginning of the bicep. from the beginning of the bicep to the hand the arm is exposed before the hand is covered by a black covered glove. On his back Kotaro have two Wakizashi that is strapped to his back where a sheath is held diagonally. when we go towards the waist, there a navy blue waist band wrapped around it with two plates of armor that is on both his left and his right hips. The plate is made of the same material that is on the shoulder guards and the visor on his helmet. On his lower body there is some black baggy pants allowing his movement can be swift and easy without restraint. They do go down to his knees where they meet with the shin guards that are plated with the same material that is used to the rest of his armor. On his feet he wears the traditional ninja shoes making him lightning on his feet and muffles the sounds of his steps against the ground. Personality | 性格 Kotaro he's the personality of every traditional ninja in the Sengoku era. for one he is silent. He has the ability to minimize breathing to prevent himself making the most subtle of sounds to remain hidden before attacking. The only time he does speak is when he in the middle of a head to head battle with someone of equal or greater strength after a while after staying silent from sheer excitement. Even his movements are silent due to him being light on his feet. There has been certain accounts that the opponent thought that he was hovering over the ground without touching the ground once because there was no sound of footsteps and he would move a great speed. Kotaro also does a lot of meditation, which he tends to do outdoors, in a secluded area. The would usually take the lotus sitting position close his eyes and began to make slow deep breaths while simulating fighting situations with his minds eye. This form of meditation is he way are training for the next battle by mentally gaining experience without having to actually fight. When it comes to get out of sticky situations Kotaro is one of the wittiest ninja. He uses his analytical, experimental and tactical prowess to help him to evaluate the situation and then execute a plan that would solve the problem. When it comes to quick thinking while in the middle of battle, the skills previously mentioned comes it handy when he is locked in close quarters combat, whether it is Kenjutsu, or sword arts or Taijutsu meaning hand to hand combat. He is able to make a decision in a split second making it easy for him to counter and take advantage of the battle. Kotaro is usually calm and stoic not really making any facial expressions while he speaks. This would be because in his training he learned that emotions are a ninja's weakness. To truly be strong you must throw your emotions to the side and focus on completing the mission successfully. Kotaro is also respectful but only to his superiors. When it comes to other shinobi or samurai he comes off as cocky, or overconfident. During battle he will try to aggravate the opponent to get the upper hand when they going into a wild rage during battle. Kotaro usually gets a kick out of fighting even though he doesn't show it. He isn't the type to start off the battle with his strongest technique but will test the opponent and wait until he feels that it is time to be serious with the opponent in order to win. (Hayaton No Jutsu) Swift Release Technique Type: Offensive/Defensive Rank: C-Rank Range: Short Chakra: 15 Damage: 30 Description: the basic technique of Swift Release, the user will do the Boar handseal and use his chakra to move at increased speed in short range. He can use this to perform free form taijutsu attacks or to dodge small scaled techniques. However, the technique is very short lived and can only last 1 to 2 seconds, being good enough for one or two punches or a simple side step. B rank (Hayaton: Kage Ken) Swift Release: Shadow Punch Type: Offensive Rank: B-Rank Range: Short-Mid Chakra: 20 Damage: 40 Description: A simple taijutsu move combined with the abilities of Swift Release. The user will do one handseal (Boar) and infuse his body with chakra, flashing towards his target to deliver a simple punch. While exceedingly fast, the technique bares the same limitations of any other Swift Release technique. (Hayaton: Oni no Mohō Suru) Swift Release: Demons Mimicry Type: Supplementary Rank: B-Rank Range: Short-Mid Chakra: 20 Damage: N/A Description: The user will do the Boar handseal and disappear in a flash of speed. As he moves around the target, his immense speed creates afterimages that can effectively be confused with clones. The user needs to move in a circular or spherical pattern around the enemy to produce the effect. The afterimages will all mirror the movement of eachother which is the movement the user is doing himself. A very useful distraction, the technique can produce up to 9 copies of the user and unless the user has a doujutsu or a sensory ability, he won't be able to tell the difference between each afterimage. Although perfectly visible, the images flicker slightly and are to some extent translucent, not being easily confused with clones. While the target is distracted the user can attack with weapons or taijutsu. Although the enemy will see the user moving to attack, he won't be able to notice which afterimage is going to attack. A rank (Hayatōn: Mueishō) – Swift Release: Shadowless Flight Rank: A Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary Range: Short - Long Chakra cost: 30 Damage points: 60 Description: After making a single hand seal the user can move at fast speeds through the release of the swift release and then strike their opponent at multiple angles. The jutsu is effective against strength based close-combat Taijutsu users such as Tsunade and Sakura. However sharingan of tomo 3 is capable of reading the movements and can react to the opponents attacks. Note: Can only be used by a swift user bio. (Hayaton: Kajiya no Ryūkō) Swift Release: Blacksmiths Form Type: Offensive Rank: A-rank Range: Short-Long Chakra: 30 Damage: 60 Description: The user will do 2 handseals and infuse his body with chakra which he will use to rotate a fiercely high speeds while he unleashes a barrage of weapons all around. This technique is nothing more than using Swift Releases ability to make the user move faster to produce an omnidirectional attack by powering his ability to throw basic weapons much faster than normal. If the user uses Explosive Tags in his weapons he can add +20 explosive damage. S rank (Hayaton: Takai Hebi no Kamu) Swift Release: High Serpent's Bite Type: Offensive/Defensive Rank: S-Rank Range: Short-Long Chakra: 40 Damage: N/A Description: In response to an enemy attack, the user will produce both a defense and counter by making one handseal (Boar) and infusing his body with chakra. As he does this, he moves at extremely high speeds in what can be described as virtually instant, out of the way of the technique and behind the opponent. Upon reaching behind the opponent, the user is free to either do a simple, powerful taijutsu attack and take advantage of the speed to a surprise effect or, by losing the surprise effect, produce a weapon or ninjutsu attack. Type: Supplementary Rank: C Range: Short - Long Chakra: 15 (- 5 per turn) Damage: N/A Description: This is a very advanced of advancing the ability to feel and sense chakra. The technique allows the user to concentrate and detect someone's chakra. Users can use this to determine the nature of a jutsu used as well as sense masses of chakra. The use of this can be compared to Sharingan's brutish level of sensory, able to sense collection of chakra but not the level of clarity and precision Byakugan has. Background Info | 基礎的な情報 "Blow, like dust in the wind!" ![]() History | 歴史 The Beginning Kotaro Fuma is the leader of the now disbanded Fuma clan that formally resided in Sunagakure. Afterwards, traveled the world working as a mercenary for the highest bidder. Using his ninja skills for a quick an easy buck, he felt homesick but knew that he would never be able to return to Sunagakure. He distance himself as far as he could and to quench the feeling of loneliness, aligned himself with Kumogakure. Therefore making it his new home. Since then Kotaro have been on missions and battle left and right to prove that he has what it takes to be a proficient ninja. He usually goes into fights daily making fighting a major part in his life. There has been many battles that he had been in and for the most part he have been victorious in all the matches so far. Using his stealth skills, his large arsenal of jutsu at his disposal and superior battle tactics, he tends to gain the upper hand over his opponents. His first battle was at the local battle arena. It was a day that to Kotaro was too peaceful leaving Kotaro uncomfortable. When Kotaro made it to the battle arena he welcomed anyone that was bold enough to challenge him. For a moment no one was courageous enough to step up to the plate for accept his challenge. This left Kotaro a little discouraged. To answer his call, A shinobi had emerged from the stands and before Kotaro. He glared at Kotaro with the white pupil-less eyes of the Hyuga clan of the Hidden leaf village, but, but he wore the headband with the Iwagakure symbol himself. Kotaro was excited and wasted no time with starting the battle with the toss of some ninja tools before dashing towards the opponent with great speed before ending the battle in a flash. The crowd was astounded by the performance. With the next battle, it takes place on a meadow in the middle of the forest. An opponent by the name of Ludger of the steel release. He started the battle off light, throwing elemental projectiles at the opponent as he defended against them. As Kotaro learns that his opponent controls the element of steel he his Specialty of lightning jutsu against Ludger. The battle was fierce and many blows was exchanged some of fist, others of weapons and others of jutsu. Kotaro kept the pressure on Ludger keeping him on the defensive before releasing the final strike of lightning which clashed with Ludger's lightning projectile that was released from his special weapon. As the dust cleared the opponent wasn't able to used both his arms and decided to retreat to treat himself giving Kotaro another win! With this experience Kotaro felt that he was ready to traveled the world in order to make himself stronger and collect bounties to gain his own riches, offering his services to the highest bidder. Kotaro has begun his travels to get the bounties he was looking for. He begun with a intel strategy to gather from the five major villages. Kotaro made his way to 4/5 major villages with no luck. In the middle of going to final village, The Hidden Stone, he came across and Aburame clan member at The Blood Tavern on Crimson State Island. Kotaro was hoping that the meet Up would inquire that the Aburame Clan member by the name of Panthalassa or "Pantha" for short would Join Kaihakusei and become a great asset to the evergrowing mercenary group. Unfortunately Kotaro was wrong and instead of Joining, Pantha Attacked with killing intent behind his strike to try and take the price for Kotaro's head. After a long lapse of exchanging blows, Pantha was Successful. Later Kotaro continued his journey looking for bounty in order to pay for the simple expenses of being a mercenary. Kotaro came across someone of the hidden stone once again since he wasnt successful last time. Instead of running into the Aburame like last time. instead he was in turn encountered by another stone village ninja. This ninja was much stronger than the Aburame. Saito was able to tell just from the Ninja's calm spirit that he had great skill but avoided using it unless he had to protect his village. Still Kotaro was persistent in his goal. Unfortunately, Kotaro was defeated yet again. Instead of killing Kotaro the ninja made a deal with him that a percentage of his first bounty would be given to pay for the repairs of the village caused by Kotaro. Kotaro then went to look for the one Bounty that is absolute which is the Akatsuki. Soon afterward, Kotaro heard of the Akatsuki moving throughout the ninja world and causing havoc within the many different villages. Kotaro seen that this time is the time to make the move that he needed to get the bounty that he so needed by collecting at least one of the Akatsuki's head and collect the bounty before bringing that percentage to the Hidden stone village. Kotaro headed to the Blood tavern. When he made it there, One of the Akatsuki had entered the Tavern. Kotaro noticed the Akatsuki member as Manda'lor, The Indomitable. For a moment, Kotaro was struggling to make his move but he succumb to his nindo, his Ninja Way to use the chance to take the head of The Indomitable. He challenged the Akatsuki members to a battle within the Blood Tavern. Unfortunately, Kotaro was overpowered once again and lost to him and once again his life was spared by his enemy. Kotaro's pride was tarnished and he sent to lick his wounds but he didnt let this be another moment where he would hope that things would change. Instead, He trained to increase his ability. He htested his Taijutsu against a Taijutsu Master to gain the ability to open the Eight Inner Gates and passed it and is now taking lessons. He has also awakened the ability of sensory, a skill that allows him to sense the positioning and the nature of chakra giving him greater insight to his surrounding during his battles. he made sure that he would be stronger so when he would face the Akatsuki he would be victorious and he would be able to pay his debt.

Other | その他 Wind Affinity With his affinity being the element of wind, Kotaro is able to perform wind jutsu with a single handseal Lightning Specialty After studying the scrolls of the Lightning Release he has been able to make himself very familiar with the handseal, allowing him to weave the handseal for lightning techniques fasters than normal. Swift Release Kotaro has the ability to combine both the wind and lightning chakra to form the swift element. With the Swift element active it allows Kotaro to run at speeds +15 levels than his base speed. Weapons and Tools With Kotaro being a wind specialist he also carries a giant war fan and With a swing of it while molding his wind chakra he can raging currents, whirlwinds, vortex that can be used to attack the opponent. Kotaro carries two tsurugiken on his back for kenjutsu along with the standard senbon, kunai, shuriken, ninja wire, paper bombs, smoke bombs, flash bombs etc. Sensory With Sensory, Kotaro would be able to tell the positioning and the nature of the opponent by concentrating on their chakra.
