konohomaru fight Naruto for the hokage spot

Konohomaru declared that he would fight naruto for the title of hokage, I've been wondering, konohomaru does realise if he fight's naruto he's gonna die
doesn't he. I personally hate konohomaru for learning naruto's really special jutsu
and I'm starting to think what if the writer decides that konohomaru will become hokage because naruto needs to seek something out? So the question is, will konohomaru lose or win for some stupid reason?

i think naruto is the jiraiya of his generation. Most likely shikamaru will be hokage with his great skill and intelligence then konohamaru will be 8th hokage

obvisoly not now but probalay during a timeskip. i believe by the time it happens kono will be naruto's and sasuke's equal. i see the thrid in him much like everyone sees the fourth in naruto.

Well I mean obviosly he will get PWNED ,OWNED,DEMOLISED, TURNED TO RUBBLE xd,however you want to put it. Naruto has Senniln Mode and Kono just has a Rasengan and Sexy Jutsu(That I know of I guess). In the end, like most animes, cartoons, and tv shows the main character reaches his MAIN goal. For Naruto its Hokage. Maybe in the future Kono will be taught by the sages(taods). Thats the way I see it ^^
